"Ashwika we have arrived at the campus, wake up," I hear someone's voice and squint open my eyes.
Ohh shit, so soon we have reached the office?
Well Ashwi office is just twenty away from your house.
I talk to myself as I get off the cab. Last night, I couldn't sleep well. I was twisting toasting, had a disturbed sleep and then I woke up around 06:20 AM. I fed and played with my cats until it was time for me to take a bath and get ready for the office.
The five days of sick leave helped me have a leisure weekend rather than a hectic one. I was able to update my progress report and finish my assignments. When I had the free time, I couldn't keep my curiosity locked and searched for a short film in which Siva and Pallavi akka have acted together.
They both have acted a little close and I didn't feel anything but I still couldn't understand why I behaved worse to Siva after watching his tik tok video with Anu akka. But one thing if I have to be happy means, he is not following Anuradha akka but me. Also, Siva messaged me to enquire about my health, not once but twice.
Ashwi, Siva could have texted you twice but for the past three days Anu akka would have been here in the office.
So what? I don't care.
What happened to my inner self, today?
I enter the office cabin and when I'm about to walk towards the elevator bay, I find Siva walking out of the lobby into the quadrangle to reach the manufacturing unit. I'm about to call him out but decided against it. I get into the lift and reach for the powerhouse floor. Entering into the office space, I'm welcomed by my Puvi anna.

He comes to hug me and asks about my well being, "Ipo eppadi Thangachi iruka?"
"Nalla iruken anney, neenga eppadi irukeenga?" (I'm good, brother. How are you doing?)
"Avaruku enna avaru eppovum nalla thaan irukaru," Pallavi akka comes to hug me. (What about him, he has always been good)
"Akka, antha short film paathen, super ah act pani irukeenga, cute ah irukeenga.(Akka, I watched that short film, you acted amazingly and looked so cute).
"Thanks da" she kisses my cheeks.
Puvi anna looks between us and asks, "Ena short film athu ithu nu?" (What are you both talking about?)
"Pallavi akka has acted in a short film alongside Siva sir during their college days, that's what we are talking about"
"Edheyy? Ena kita sollave illa Pallavi nee?" (What? It's a news to me, Pallavi)
"Appadi ellam onnum illa Puvi, nan explain pandren," she replies to him and advises me to meet Rakesh Anna. (Nothing like that Puvi, I'll explain everything to you).
