"I know right?" I exclaimed. "It's so fucking annoying. We don't even get a vacation for coming back from vacation."
"It's unfair." Jordan huffed. "At least give us a week extra off. Now we go back to studying. It's stupid."
"My thoughts exactly. I hate studying. I learn more by doing things then reading and memorizing" I muttered running a hand through my hair.
"Well whatever." Jordan sighed. "Let's enjoy the last day of our vacation without the thought of studying." I agreed to that one hundred percent.
Aaron pulled my chair to him and rested his hand on my knee. "I just want to sleep."
"You always want to sleep." Sersha rolled her eyes.
Aaron lifted a shoulder lazily. "I get the best sleep." His winked at me as I took a sip from Sersha's coke.
She moved it forward as I stuck my mouth out to catch the straw from her shoulder. "Too bad Bryce is sleeping with me today."
"What?" Aaron looked at her frustrated. "She's my girlfriend."
"She's my best friend. Have a problem?" Damn the shy girl was getting her spikes.
"Hey it's unfair that every time she gets to sleep with one of you guys. Bryce and I haven't had a real sleepover since forever. She's sleeping with me tonight." I glanced at the old lady next to us watching us with wide eyes.
I gave her an awkward smile and a wave of fingers to which she looked away. Alright then.
"I think she gets to decide that." Aaron concluded. "It's her choice."
"That it is." I announced. I narrowed my eyes at all of them and chose. "I shall be warming Jordan's bed tonight." A screech of metal against the marble occurred and the old lady quickly scurried away making us all laugh.
"Thank you for your humble words." Jordan bowed. "I'll go get the car. Call Maddie and tell her to come quick. It ain't an all nighter here." He huffed taking out his keys and walking to the parking lot.
"I'm going to miss you." Aaron pouted at me.
"Oh please." Sersha scoffed. "She's gone for one night. Plus I can't imagine how you'd survive once you both are off to college." I watched Aaron's face cautiously as it matched mine. Still a sore topic.
I decided to change the subject and sniffed. "I'm starving. Is anybody else?"
"I already ordered you two burgers and a cappuccino." Aaron told me as he waved over the waiter. "No pickles and extra sauce." He took the brown bag from the waiter and handed it to me proudly.
"Thank you." I smiled at him. "It's perfect." I pushed back in my seat and got up pocketing my phone. Just as I was about to leave Madison came running towards me with her limbs flailing.
"Bryce!" She shouted from across the large, very echoed, hallway. "You'll never guess which guy is hitting on you right now!"
"Which one!" I shout back.
"The one with the dark hair at three 'o' clock." I turned to the direction to see a guy, probably in his early twenties, lock eyes with me. He had a small smirk playing on his lips as he nodded at me.
