when she opened that door she wished she hadn't, the pain that awaited her was immense, a stab to the gut. oh how she wished that, that was just a metaphor. that stab to the gut was painful, harsher than any word could pierce the mind.

who knew why that person had stabbed her, maybe he was waiting to rob her? or maybe he already did, and it was a last ditch effort to get away when she got home. but all she knew was that she was bleeding out in the entree way to her home.

the warm metallic liquid was pooling around her, slowly. she already felt the crimson red liquid filling her throat and dripping from her mouth. she gasped for air, her body rocking as she did. but barely any air filled her lungs, rather than her blood, she was drowning in her blood.

where was he? knockout, where was he at the moment? what was he doing? he was probably off polishing his finish for the fifth time that day. not caring for his "pet" as megatron would call her, she disliked the name very much.

she gasped again, just inhaling her own metallic thick tasting blood. she tried her best to reach for her discarded purse, to call knockout. she found the cell phone, shakily opening it and slowly dialing his comm. link. it rung for a moment or two before his voice answered.

his mind was racing as he got no response, but a sudden few gasps caught his attention. "y/n? are you okay?" with no response he swiftly walks towards the ground bridge deck. "soundwave, ground-bridge now please" he wanted to make sure that she where okay, but he didn't want to over react, incase it was really just an accidental call.

when he got through the green and blue swirling bridge, he transformed and rode down the road not going past the speed limit to cause no suspension in the human town.

when he arrived at y/n's home, a small one story f/c house with a white roof and a pretty little window garden. his optics widened at the scene in-front of him, his human laid upon the polished hard wood floors of her door way. she laid pooling in her blood.

she had been stabbed, by who? that didn't matter yet, he quickly activated his light-matter form and ran towards the girl. he dropped to his knees, surveying the damage done to her.

y/n had been stabbed three times in the gut, one of the gashes just below her lungs. "oh, darling. I have to get you somewhere where they can help you" he says going to try and lift her. when he went to move her blood gushed from the wounds. he couldn't more her without worsening her condition.

"y/n! y/n!" he lifted her head onto his lap, trying to keep her awake while trying to dial what she had told him was the human emergency call line. he explained the situation to the woman on the other side of the line and she said to stay on the line and a ambulance and police would be there shortly. he put the phone on speaker and set it down next to him.

"y/n, please keep your eyes open. Y/N" he lightly slapped her face, she sputtered in response, eyes lulling over to him. a faint smile wiping over her lips. she mouthed a slow 'i love you', "I love you, too. y/n you have to stay awake, for me squish" he said, stroking the side of her face with his pale and long fingers.

with that, the life drained from her. a silent sob over took him suddenly, why? why was he crying? was it because she died, of course it was! but also because he never heard her say 'i love you' before, it shattered his still spinning spark.

the sound of sirens filled his ears, the responders where here. to take her away, away from him. this would be the last he would see her, the last he would see her beautiful e/c eyes that shone like the sun.

a police man pulled him away from the scene, he could do nothing but on-look as the emts carried her now lifeless body away from the scene of the crime. the police man tried to ask him questions but he couldn't speak, nothing would work. he was petrified from those events.

"i. . . love you. . . y/n" he mumbled, the police man asked him what he said but he remained quiet as a silent tears streaked down his cheek. this was the last time he'd ever see her again.
