"Hellooooo.... hey... Are you dead?" I heard someone say as they continued to poke my cheek. I groggily open my eyes to see a blurred figure in my face. I quickly blink my eyes to focus and recognize that I am face to face with the man from the station. I let out a small shriek, slapping away his hand defensively.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I ask him. He scared the crap out of me.

"Sorry, I was just trying to wake you up. I tried calling out to you, but you weren't responding," I stare at his face trying to find any evidence of a lie. I decided to let it go. I mumbled something incoherent, while looking around, and noticed that I was back in the dorms again.... Great.

"Yeah, sorry for that. I'll just let you go back to sleep." he begins to walk away and guilt starts to settle in"

"Wait." he turns around and looks at me "It's fine, thanks for waking me up," I say, causing him to give me a small smile and offer me a hand out of the bed. He was the only other person I sort of know other than Ali, which I hope was here as well.

"You came back," I state trying to make small talk

"So did you. Why did you come back?" he asked.

I shrug my shoulders "The same reason why you and everyone else is here...the money,"

He nodded his head, "What does your police boyfriend think about this?"

I scoff, he is so damn noisy "He's not my boyfriend... he's just my friend."

"Really?, he seems so overprotective, when we were talking, he-" he began to say, but I cut him off. I already felt guilty for what I did to him. I didn't need him to keep reminding me how much he probably hates me right now.

"Let's look around," I said, giving him the hint that I didn't want to talk about Joon-Ho anymore.

I followed him through the dorms, watching how there were fewer people than before. Looking up at the digital screen, I read that there were only 187 players. Wow, I seriously don't blame them for not coming back, if I wasn't in the circumstance that I am in now, this place would never see me again. Continuing to scan the room all I saw were black bunk beds until one caught my eye. It was player 001. He was still asleep. I tapped Gi-hun and motioned for him to follow me towards the older man.

"Hey, sir," I say lightly, shaking his shoulder.

"Wake up, sir." Gi-hun states, but the old man was still asleep.

I bent down closer to the man saying "Wake up. Get up, huh?" The man begins to stir and slowly begins to wake up. Thank god, I thought he was dead for a minute.

"Uh-huh." Player 001 groans

"Are you all right?" Gi-hun asks, concerned. The man begins to sit up with a smile on his face.

"You guys are here" the old man sat looking happy to see us. Gi-hun and I look at each other slightly confused. But, we return the smile to be nice.

"Yeah. I got scared. I thought you were gone for good." Gi-hun states nonchalantly and I slap his arm, giving him a 'that was insensitive to say look.' But, the older man simply chuckles, not taking any offense to the statement, "Hey. I won't die so easily, you know." This made me smile at the old man. He was so sweet and it was quite sad that not only was he ill, but will have to compete in these deadly games.

"I know you won't. I stopped playing because of you, and I'm back because of what you said. I'm actually sort of partial to you. Both of you." Gi-hun looks at me and the old man.

The old man looks into the middle of the dorm. The other players were grouped up talking amongst one another. "A lot of people decided to come back," the old man said
