"You're right. Hmm. I guess everybody's desperate." Gi-hun replied. "There, look. That's the woman who couldn't name her kid. She came back too."

We all looked over to see the woman, she was brooding, glancing at us before looking away. "Huh, you're right," I say.

"Think she named her kid yet?" the old man asked.

"I don't know."

"Gi-hun!" A man walked towards us. I didn't think anyone here knew each other outside of this place, besides the snake tattoo man and the chick with the short hair.

"Oh, Sang-woo. So you're here. I didn't think I'd see you." I remember him, he was one of the people who was seen getting slapped on the screen. I look at his number 218, yeah he spoke out to the masked men too.

"Neither did I." Sang-woo awkwardly laughed. The two continued to talk when another person came over.

"Hey, good sirs, and little madam."

"Oh. Hey. It's my angel," Gi-hun said.

"Mine too," I say smiling towards him. It was Ali, seeing him gave me relief. Even though we had just recently met, I felt like I could trust him with my life. He saved me, and I couldn't be more grateful.

"Seems like everyone is a big fan of Ali," I heard Sang-woo mumble. Everyone else didn't hear it, but I sure did. I glare at him to shut the fuck up.

"I'm happy to see all of you. I hope we make it. Thanks for the bus fare, sir. It meant so much to me." Ali responds genuinely. Ugh, he is literally the sweetest person ever.

"What, you gave him the bus fare?" Gi-hun questioned Sang-woo.

"Because he said that he'd walk Yeouido to Ansan."

"That's so heartwarming. We're like a bunch of soldiers at training camp, huh? Gi-hun laughs

"This isn't a training camp." I countered.

"Oh! Soldiers all training together?" Ali asked

"Uh-huh. Wait a minute. Since we're on the subject now, you guys should join me. We should just form our own team, don't you think?" Gi-hun suggested it and it didn't sound like a bad idea. There was no telling what games we were going to play next and it was better to work as a team than struggle by ourselves. I was kind of surprised they wanted a girl on their team, most people consider us weak.

"You're right. Who knows what game they'll have us play next. It wouldn't hurt to be in a group so we're ready for anything," Sang-hoo agreed.

"Hey, you should join us. I mean, we already know he's crazy strong. You saw it. He lifted me up with one hand like it was nothing at all." Gi-hun said, pointing to Ali.

"You mean... that you... Can I join you?" Ali shyly asked.

"Oh, yeah, sure. Uh, so then, you'll be the new recruit. He's a skilled corporal, and that means I'm a sergeant. And you can be a soldiers' nurse," Gi-hun laughs, placing his arm around my shoulder.

The height difference between us was insane, he was standing at 6'1 while I was only 5'1. I hit his shoulder.

"You know I'm the general of this group," I say pointing to myself.

The men chuckle at me, "Alright, we will let you have that," I smile in victory.

"Excuse me." We all turned around to see that it was Player 001 trying to get our attention.

"If you don't mind, can I join up with all of you?" The old man asked, and it made my heart warm.

"Yeah, of course." I quickly responded I was going to let them single him out, because of his age.
