"Who knew Posty is such a romantic." Eddie snickered.
"Only when it comes to my beautiful wife." Austin said while smiling.
"Alright, so what letters are we doing?" Asked Eddie.
"MR for Meadow Rae." Austin said.
Eddie quickly sketched up two beautiful cursive letters. I grinned down at the drawing. I couldn't believe I was marking this man forever. My initials were going to end up in an article that explained all of Austin's tattoos.
"Let's get you in the booth and I'll get my equipment ready." Eddie said.
We followed him back to his station and Austin sat down in the chair. I sat in the folding chair next to him. Austin switched his ring from his left hand to his right.
Eddie laid the stencil down and asked Austin if it looked good to him. Austin nodded in approval and Eddie started his machine up. He dunked the needle in the black ink and began to trace the outline. Austin didn't even flinch when the needle hit his skin, which should've been expected considering the amount of ink he had on his body.
"Watching my man get tatted, pretty sexy if you're asking me." I said while wiggling my eyebrows at Austin.
"I have plenty of space left, so I have of excuses to turn you on." Austin said with a smirk.
"No boning in my shop." Eddie said while cleaning up the excess ink from Austin's hand.
"Sorry." I said sheepishly.
Eddie covered up Austin's tattoo and led us up to the counter so we could pay.
"It's a small piece so it'll only be fifty." Eddie said.
Austin fished two hundred dollar bills out of his wallet and handed it to Eddie.
"Nah man that's too much. I can't accept it." Eddie said.
"Take it, we owe it to you for almost getting frisky in your shop." Austin joked.
"Can't argue with you there. I appreciate it man." Eddie said with a smile.
Austin and I went back out to the G where it was glistening in the slowly setting sunlight.
"Well, if we want to make our dinner reservations we have to head there now. We'll pick up the Subi after." Austin said.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Buca di Beppo. I'll put the address in the GPS." Austin said.
I nodded and waiting for him to put the address in. Once the GPS started talking to me I pulled away from the curb. Hurricane by Luke Combs played through the speakers and I quietly sang along.
"God you're adorable." Austin mumbled to himself.
We stopped at a stop light and Austin reached over and cupped my left cheek with his right hand and pulled me towards him so our lips connected. I pulled back and readjusted in my seat.
"You're very lovey dovey today, Mr. Post." I said sheepishly.
"I just really fucking love my wife, what can I say?" Austin shrugged.
