Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW

the events from last night had kept replaying in my mind, sidetracking me from the important things that were being discussed in the hotel room. the images of l could not leave your mind, and you would blush the more you thought about it. 

you and l had reviewed the tapes that were directed to sakura tv last night, deciding to review them before showing the taskforce. it was a reminder of the old days where you and l word work with each other alone. it was nostalgic for you and him, and seemed to stir up some feelings within you two.

it all started so simple after all. you and l, doing your work; nothing more.  then, we decided to have a moment while taking our break from reviewing the tapes. you both were unable to come up with an immediate deduction to the tapes, the two of you being flustered from what happened before.

perhaps the two of you were taking this whole friendly-fluff thing out of context, as the two of you awkwardly spared glances at each other and looked away once the two of you locked gazes. 

you were quick to snap out of your train of thought, as soichiro yagami scolded you. "l/n! play attention. we're discussing something important, and you're spacing out!" 

you sent him a slight glare, earning a glance from light yagami. you despised the fact that there was two yagami's at the taskforce. one was a suspect, and was younger. another was just older, and moody. 

"what is so important?" you asked, crossing your arms and rolling your eyes. aizawa and chief yagami shook their heads, seeming disappointed.

"naomi misora is important. she was recently determined as missing." watari repeated, seeming somewhat devastated.

your arms fell to your sides, and your once childish expression quickly faltered. "do you think this was kira's doing..?" you asked quietly, your head slightly falling.

"ryuzaki believes that is a possibility." watari stated, looking over at the raven haired male who was watching the television set.

you perked your head up, following watari's actions. 

l seemed amused, but played the part of being surprised easily. he was watching the broadcast from the tapes you had taken from sakura tv. the tapes were actually legitimate, and you now had more evidence.

"we need this broadcast to be stopped. we cannot allow kira to gain more publicity." l demands. everyone immediately acted.

everyone left the building to stop the broadcast, except l and light. you all three were now left alone, heavy tension in the room.
