The internet is filled with mountains of resources branching from help with grammar, vocabulary, or ideas! I'll admit that I've used multiple websites to help me grow, and I still use them a lot! Don't hesitate to use them because resources are your friends.

If you're unsure of the definition of a word, bring up an online dictionary! It'll give you the definition, proper use, and pronunciation! Should you struggle to think of a synonym, online thesauruses provide you with all the answers.

Grammar may not be a strong point for you, but that's okay too! Multiple platforms on the internet will help you correct your text! I've used a platform called Grammarly for years! It corrects spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes! I can set my settings to the type of audience, level of formality, writing domain, tone, and intent! It even gives me options to provide my writing with better clarity and flow.

Another tool I use often is a name generator. I'm not great with coming up with names, but www.name-generator.org.uk allows me to generate names with specific guidelines. I can set the nationality from which the name derives and a particular time period. And this generator doesn't just create names for characters; they can generate names for food, places, business, etc.

If you're not good with keeping all of your notes on paper, there are many places on the internet you can keep your notes on without having to worry about them being stolen. Google Docs is excellent and insanely simple to use. I put my notes on there all the time, and I've never lost them. Plus, I can pull Google Docs up on my phone or computer, so it's easy to access anywhere!

Not all of your resources have to be online; they could be from experienced people too! Getting a primary source is a wonderful way to get information on a subject. Teachers, Authors, and public speakers are excellent sources for writing. There are even college classes you can take to perfect your writing skills.

If there aren't many primary sources, nothing can give you more knowledge than a good book. There are tons of books out there about writing, and if you look in the right places, they can be cheap too! I know reading may not be for everybody, but it's important to read so your mind can stay sharp.

The world is full of resources for you to use — you just need to reach out and find them!
