my genie in a bottle (gxg)

Anna POV

I just finished school and I'm driving Nicole and Drew home so I can get to work. Nicole is boasting about some boy she found at lunch today he didn't even look good. Then me and Drew were just listening to her ramble.

"....he was so cute, I may ask for his number Monday! HEY are you 2 even listening to me!?" We get to Drews house, he pats my arm and gets out while shouting "adiós amigos".

"Well?" Oh right uh what do I say, what was she talking about again? Oh right that boy at lunch.

"Look Nicole I bet he's a really nice guy but you realise I'm not the right person to be talking about a boy too. But I will try and help however I can" I start driving to her house, and after a little drive we arrive, she jumps out while patting my head "I will text you later have fun at work, love ya weirdo" wow rude "yeah yeah whatever love you too stupid" she fends an offended face and walked back raising her middle finger 'cyka' (bitch) I thought.

I drive home and go to my bedroom, I get changed into my work attire curled my hair at the ends then finished my look with fresh makeup. Once ready I head to work, I work as a waiter at a local coffee shop for 1 hour 30 mins and I get about £100 and an hour you can work out the math if I work 5 days a week. (I will save you I get about £750 a week not bad)

~after work~
Ugh finally work is over it was so busy today and I just want food. I get in my car and drive to the childminder's house she is a lovely women called Ellie probably mid 30s, she has 3 kids of her own 5, 8 and 10.

I listen to the radio as I drive its about 15 mins away from my work. Once I get there I knock on the door and Ellie opens up with a bright smile "Hey superstar!" She has known me for ages now, "Hey Ellie, how has he been today?" She always has a smile on her face she rarely opens with either a stressed or a sad face.

"Oh, he has been just lovely! He ate all his spaghetti bolognese and for dessert we had a trifle, again ate it all! Then he has been playing with Kameron (her 5 year old) all day." I nod my head listening to her "at least he had fun" she called for Ryan and he came running over to us.

"Anna!" I picked him up as Ellie handed me his bag and coat "alright see you Monday!" We said goodbye and went to the car.

We got home and I made myself some noodles "Anna, Anna, can we go on a walk after you ate? Please!!" I smiled over at him "sure, we will take Sandy with us!" He danced around and ran to the living room probably to tell sandy and get her all hyper.

I finished my noodles and it was about 20 to 6. "Alright get your shoes and coat on I'm going to change into something better for walking." Ryan called out to say 'ok'.

I changed into:

I put my phone in my Jean pocket, and head downstairs I slid on my raised Black and white boots and put the harnest and lead on Sandy. Sandy wears her collar most days, all day so I don't need to put that on. I make sure to bring bags and treats then we all leave the house "Ryan do you have everything?" He nods and grabs my hand, I lock the door and we start to walk to the woods.

We arrive and I let Sandy off the leash so she can run around, Ryan runs off with her. After about 20 mins I hear Ryan call for me "Anna?" It wasn't a worried voice as I knew where he was it was more a curious voice.

I walked to where he was and he pointed to a beautiful looking bottle. It had some painted features on it. "Can we take it home?" I shake my head while saying "it is a beautiful bottle but we can't take what's not ours Ryan"

He pointed to a note and gave it to me, it read 'please take me home x' "fine, fine we will but you have to carry it OK?" Ryan nodded and started skipping off.

After about an hour we arrived home, Ryan placed the bottle on the living room table as he then took off his coat and shoes as I did the same we then sat on the sofa cuddling when he got off.

"What's wrong bud?" He grabbed the note, "it says something on the back, what does it say?" He gave me the note and I read it aloud.

"Um it says: now I'm hoping you took the bottle home, once its home in a safe environment you need to rub the bottle 3 times and wait for a few mins then a magical genie will appear, good luck to you" I look at Ryan as he does me with a smile "can we?" He asks me with a puppy dog face.

I sigh "fine, but wait I'm doing it I don't want you hurt ryan" he simply nods again and I go to the bottle, why am I doing this? I ask myself I really have no clue though.

I rub the bottle 3 times and now we wait. "While we wait let's watch a show or something yeah?" "Ooh let's watch pj's masks" I turn the TV on and put netflix on. Whilst pj masks is on I go in the kitchen and pour myself a cup of coffee and grab some random crisps out of the cupboard, I also grab a chocolate bar for Ryan.

When I come back in I take a sip of my coffee, pass ryan his chocolate bar and start to eat my crisps while putting down the cup so it wouldn't spill.

"Woah didn't know you were into pj's masks Anna!" I look to the voice and I see a girl standing there, huh? "Who are you?" I ask the girl.

"Oh let me introduce myself I'm Blair Edwards, I'm your genie" I stare at her in disbelief, "wait so your real, your not in my head?" She shakes her head and giggles "Ryan can you see her?" He nods also in disbelief.

"No I don't believe this" I go up to her and see if she is a ghost I put my hand out thinking it would go through her but it stops when it hits her stomach "ow that was my rib cage! Jesus christ Anna, what is on your finger? A nail!" (No pun intended) I can't believe this! I have a genie in my house what? A cute and hot one too! Score!
