Kiyoko's POV

How boring. I sighed. It's usually noisy during this time of the day.

Yuri is not here, she texted me last night. She said that her family will be going to Korea for a while. Shinichiro-san is busy with his shop and Sui is with him. Honestly I think there's something between them.

They hang out during their free time without me. How suspicious. Should I investigate this?

Nevermind, I have a feeling that they're dating anyway. I closed away the book I was holding.

Was the house always this silent? I never noticed how lonely it feels. Maybe I was just ignoring it. My eyes caught sight of a single plant on our table.

Sui, who was good at cooking and cleaning can't grow a plant properly. A smile made its way up my lips, a chuckle erupting from it upon remembering a certain memory two years ago.

Sui bought a lot of flowers in a pot, he wanted me to be surrounded by plants. It was honestly nice, the smell of lavender and mint lingers around my room. Sleeping was never easy for me so the refreshing scent helped a lot. Nightmares often visit my dreams, it was such a shame I couldn't remember anything after waking up.

I'm going off topic but anyway, the flowers didn't last long and died. Sui was sad, but he didn't feel discouraged at all. He studied various ways to keep a plant. But, some things are just not for people.

My hands fiddled with the flower, gently caressing it with my thumb, careful not to break the petals. No matter how many times Sui tried to keep a flower alive, somehow, it always ended up withered or just dead. So he bought me a cactus. He said they wouldn't die easily, it was true.

Sigh.

 I'm bored.

Maybe it is time for me to become a detective.

Third Person's POV

Kiyoko dashed to her room, searching for an outfit that may look similar to a detective. Lately, her preference in books has changed, the usual history book she's holding has been replaced by a mystery book that Yuri had recommended.

She posed on the wall mirror, tipping her hat and her lips curling into a not-so subtle smirk, " The culprit is you! " Kiyoko turned to her bed, pointing at the innocent looking sheep pillow.

" I know what you did, You cannot hide anymore! " She took out the handcuffs from her bag, tackling the sheep and pinning him down.

Where did she get the handcuffs? Who knows, totally not from Sui's room. Totally not.

She had acted out like the culprit was struggling, trying to escape his doom, but alas and alack, detective kiyoko was the one who caught her. " You left your fingerprints all over the place! You're totally a newbie at killing people! And your clothes till now were the same one you were wearing yesterday! "

The innocent looking plushie sheep gasped in her imagination, giving up on struggling.

Kiyoko pretended that this is the part where the culprit confessed his sins, along with the reason why he did it. Probably a tragic backstory, wanting to take revenge on people who had wronged him.
