Dream POV
Golden morning light streamed through wispy curtains, bathing the room in a gentle glow. Dream shifted in his warm bed, soft sheets brushing against his skin. A weight pressed against his body, slow breaths caressing his neck.
Dream smiled, pulling George closer, nuzzling his fluffy brown hair lovingly.
George groaned, burying his face deeper into the dirty blond's chest.
"Good morning, princess." Dream murmured into his husband's ear.
"Stop." George's voice was muffled, breath hot against Dream's chest. "Go back to sleep."
An arm hooked under Dream's, warm palm resting lightly against the dirty blond's shoulder. George snuggled into him, eyes still closed.
Normally, Dream would happily spend the morning soaking up cuddles, but the Sleepy Bois were coming for brunch today. Drista planned to arrive early to help them prepare the meal. Ten years after DreamXD's death, and the group grew even closer. Everyone worked hard rebuilding after the apocalypse. George and Ranboo even managed to bring back most of the technology they'd lost.
BadBoyHalo had turned out to be a former therapist. He'd helped Dream and George process the trauma from their counterpart's memories, but they still lived farther away from the group than anyone else, preferring quiet privacy.
The Sleepy Bois made a town of their own with large buildings, shopping areas, and restaurants. More survivors joined them, though Philza had to be careful of the mental state when allowing new people in.
Overall, they were doing extremely well.
"Wake up, baby." Dream pressed his lips to George's forehead. "We have company today."
George sighed, "Fine."
Dream smiled, ready to get up when George rolled them over. The brunette laid comfortably over Dream, who was now laying on his back.
"Georgie!" Dream wheezed.
"Hm? What?" George's weight rested completely limp over the dirty blond.
"I will carry you." Dream threatened teasingly. "Then you'll have to get up."
The brunette shifted, sliding up until he was pressing his forehead into Dream's cheek. The dirty blond soaked in the warm affection, fighting the urge to just stay in bed.
"Do it, then."
Before Dream could reply, a soft hand cupped his other cheek, and the last thing he saw before his lips were stolen was a pair of mocha eyes.
George moved his lips slowly against Dream's, coating the dirty blond's mouth in sweet adoration. Dream could never get tired of kissing his husband. He loved the way their lips fit together, communicating words of tender intimacy without needing to speak.
The brunette's ring brushed his cheek, and Dream's arms tightened around George possessively. His hands slid down George's smooth back, stopping on the back of his thighs. Dream rubbed soothing circles before trailing his hands back up to tangle in brown hair.
George released Dream's mouth, their slippery lips puffing mingled breaths. Dream leaned in, gently biting the brunette's bottom lip. His chest fluttered with warm butterflies, placing one more kiss on George's cheek.
"I love you too, idiot." George laughed lightly. He leaned down, relaxing with his chin on Dream's messy dirty blond hair.
"I'll always love you more." Dream nuzzled his nose into the pulse throbbing in the brunette's neck.
