RJ Caswen Oneshots!

the dark smoke clouded the sky. everyone trying as best they can to get people out of the building without falling to the ground from to much smoke.

"is everyone out?!" nini shouted looking around worried, holding onto a coughing carlos and seb.

would you believe an electrical cord set the whole caswell household on fire?

"where's ricky?!" big red turned around noticing his best friend missing.

ej's eyes widened and his head shot up as he turned to look at the fire before quickly turning back to the group.

"ej no-" ashlyn tried, knowing what he was about to do.

ej gave her a sympathetic look before he bolted back into the house, dodging firefighters and flames trying to hold him back. he couldn't loose ricky.

"EJ!" he heard the groups cries behind him.

nini tried to run in with him, needing to save her best-friend but was held back tightly by a crying kourtney and some firefighters, "NO PLEASE!" she sobbed.

everyone stopped when the roof fell in. crushing everything inside it. everyone just paused, tears running down their faces as they held onto each-other. the firefighters doing the best they can to try and put the fire.

"what the f*ck!" ashlyn yelled, crying into her boyfriends shoulder.

they all watched the flames. they just watched ej and ricky die. now, where the house once stood was just a pile of burnt rubble.

or so they thought.

suddenly a shadow emerged from the fire.

the cloud of a smoked, bloody ej, holding a very unconscious and injured ricky in his arms.

"guys!" gina shouted, gaining everyone's attention as she pointed to the boys.

everyone started freaking out again as ej brought ricky over and laid him on the ground.

"cmon, baby, don't die on me now.." ej mumbled as he hovered over him, a hand resting on his cheek, "he's had a lot of smoke but he's still breathing!.." ej held his fingers to the other boys neck, finding his pulse.

"can we get some help over here?!" carlos yelled at the paramedics.

they soon came rushing over with a stretcher in their hands, pushing ej away so they could get to the unconscious junior.

"sh!t.." ej mumbled, gripping his hair whilst tears slipped down his face as he watched his boyfriend get taken away from him, coughing as the smoke drowned his lungs.

"ej- don't do that crap again!.." ashlyn wrapped her arms around him.

ej hugged her back, shaking and coughing.

ricky was in hospital. and has been for the past week and is still unconscious. ej hasn't left his side since he got here other from the doctor taking him to care for his own injuries.

he sat on the edge of the bed, his hand slightly holding the other boy's, "c'mon, baby.." he mumbled, letting a tear slip from his eye.

ricky laid there covered in bandages. he only just survived according to the doctor and he's lucky ej ran back for him.

the senior rested his hand on the junior's cheek, slowly rubbing it. the boy still smelt of smoke.

"ej. he's gonna be okay." gina walked into the room.

"he had a low chance of survival, g, i'm just-" he sighed.

gina weakily smiled at how worried ej was about ricky. he's never really cared about anyone like this. sure, he cared about nini but he didn't care for her as much as he cares for ricky.

"he will wake up." the girl came over and placed a hand on his shoulder.

she looked at ricky for a second before looking back at ej, "don't stress yourself too much.." she gave him a slight hug before walking out of the room.

ej sighed and leant forward, placing a kiss to the other boy's lips, humming a certain song, "we're just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me.." his voice broke, "trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat.." he finished as the tears started pouring down his face again.

ricky woke up a few hours later. he first spotted the sleeping ej sitting in the chair next to his bed after the bright white lights shining in his face.

"e.." his voice broke out, "eej." he said and that suddenly got the boy to wake up.

"huh?- holy sh!t.." ej's eyes widened as he immediately pulled the boy into a soft hug not wanting to hurt him.

"how long was i out?" ricky mumbled as he brought his hand to the back of his boyfriends head, slightly playing with his hair, digging his face into his shoulder.

"a week at least.."

"you've been here the whole time?" ricky pulled back and looked at him.

"i couldn't leave you. i was scared something would happen while i was gone.." ej's eyes had gone soft.

ricky's heart ached a tiny bit at the way ej was so worried about him. he's never had someone care about him this much other from his dad and nini.

the skater only pulled the jock in to meet their lips. ej carefully got on top of him, disconnecting their lips to lay on his stomach carefully.

"you really are my hero." ricky laughed quietly.

ej blushed and looked up at him again, "never leave me like that again.."

ricky felt like crying but ran his hands through ej's hair, calming both himself and the senior.

"i heard you singing to me." ricky smiled as ej hid his face, "i might have to ask you to sing to me more."

"anything for you, love.." ej whispered softly.

he was so happy.
