Laura
Saturday's are my favorite day. On Saturdays you don't have to go to school like Friday's, and you don't have to worry about going back to school like Sunday's. Saturday's are just a day to relax and unload.
This Saturday however, is not my favorite day because after Sunday we have to back to dreaded college. But mostly because I have to face Ross, which is why I am going meet Rydel on this wonderful Saturday.
I figured if I met Rydel then I may have a run in with Ross which is kind of what I was hoping for. I know it seems like I'm using Rydel, but I really do want to talk to her and hang out, seeing Ross would just be a bonus. I really don't want to have to deal with him, but I don't want to have any awkward run in's with him at school that may and probably will end up with me in tears.
I threw on an oversized sweater and leggings while slipping on my uggs and pulled my messy hair into a side braid. I took a deep breath, and grabbed my phone before racing out the door into my car.
"Hey Rydel, it's Laura. Uh I'm on my way. I'll see you in like twenty." I left a quick message to Rydel before starting the engine and driving off.

After about thirty minutes rather than twenty, I finally pulled into the large driveway of Rydel's house.
"Wow," I mumbled, gaping at the huge Victorian style mansion that towered over me. I had no idea the Lynches were so rich.
After three hard knocks on the large door, it swung open to reveal a taller blond boy who had some of Ross's features, but looked slightly older.
"Hey, uh you must be Laura." He smiled slightly, running a hand through his hair.
"Yeah," I trailed off slightly as I watched him bite his lip. Wow he's hot.
"Um, come in." He half smiled, stepping aside to let me in.
"Thanks," I looked around the inside of the house, it was beautiful, "you have a really nice house." I said aloud before mentally face palming myself.
"Oh, uh thanks." He chuckled slightly.
"I'll go get Rydel, she's probably in her room." he said quickly before beginning to rush to the stairs.
"Wait!" I suddenly called out, making him turn around abruptly, "I never got your name." I smiled lightly.
"It's Riker." He smiled at me before turning to run up the stairs. Wow he's really cute and nice. Nothing like Ross. I'm surprised they're actually related.
I turned in a slow circle admiring the beautiful house when a familiar voice caught my attention. "Laura?"
I turned around way to quickly, and stumbled slightly when my eyes met his, "Hi Ross," I said quietly.
"Uh what are you doing here?" He ran a hand through his hair while looking down shyly.
"I'm here to see Rydel." I still spoke quietly.
"Oh," he sounded a little upset when I said that.
"Laura!" Rydel's voice interrupted us as she ran down the stairs to meet me.
"Hey!" I smiled looking over at her as she enveloped me in a huge hug. I glanced at Ross who turned around and slowly walked away hanging his head low.
"Oh my god! I'm so happy to see you!" She smiled sitting down on the couch and patting the spot next to her.
"Yeah me too." I smiled sitting down next to her.
"Ross has been so mopey and sad ever since we came back home, I have no idea what's wrong with him, I mean besides the fact that he's a weirdo." she shrugged giggling a little.
"Oh," I remained silent, although I really wanted to ask more about him.
"Did something happen between you guys, I mean I know you guys have a thing going, but I never got the full details. Did you guys like, date?" She asked curiously.
"Um," I glanced up and saw Riker standing on the landing at the top of the staircase, and Ross was no where to be seen, "no, nothing like that." I shook my head half lying to Rydel, and myself.
"Oh, ok then," she smiled, "So anyways, we have a lot to catch up on!" She smiled grabbing my hand and pulling me up the stairs to her room. We passed Riker on the way up, and he gave me a small smile making me feel a blush creep up on my cheeks.
