Later that day
Yunho's Point of ViewOkay, so last time I asked Seonghwa to help me plan a date with Bosam-noona, it backfired on me. You know what that means right? I can't ask him for help on how to behave or what to do for tonight's date. And after the incident following Mingi's awful dating advice, I don't really have anyone else to go to...
"Well well well," Wooyoung said with a very pleased smile "so you finally decided to come to me for advice? Took you long enough." he said, putting his hands behind his head as he leaned back, enjoying this too much.
"Yeah. You might actually be the perfect guy for this," I said, making Wooyoung shut his eyes in bliss. He nodded and gestured for me to keep praising him. "Your food is so good after all," I continued.
"And I'm so charming and good with people," Wooyoung added, to which I sighed slightly. "Oh is this tiring for you?" He asked. "No, no" I lied, desperate for help. "And you're so charming and good with people, but also, you cook good. So will you please help me?" I asked, wanting to know if he'd actually help me or if he just wanted praise.
"Yunho, he's never dated before." Yeosang interjected from his bed, making me blink. Have any of us dated before? Maybe I need more friends. "Have you?" Wooyoung retorted defensively, sitting up on his bed, to which Yeosang nodded. "Psh, what a lie. When? We've been friends for 5 years and I never once saw you date."
"Well I had a couple of 'girlfriends' in elementary school, but when we met, I did have a real girlfriend. We broke up after like two years because I was too busy and focused on training, so we just kind of grew apart until we decided it was just better to split up." He said casually, making Wooyoung's eyes widen. "You dated for that long? And you never told me?" he asked "I thought we were friends."
"We had just met, Wooyoung, I never told anyone at Bighit. Plus I wasn't too sad when we broke up because, like I said, we had grown apart anyway and I had my mind on other things- like debuting." He explained. "So then why didn't you tell me after we debuted? Or after I left Bighit to follow you here?" Wooyoung said dramatically.
"Guys?" I intervened, reminding them that I was still in the room and in need of help before they could start fighting, but it was too late, Wooyoung had started making a scene and there was no going back now. I even tried to tell them "I'm telling Hongjoong-hyung you guys are fighting again!" to diffuse the situation, but I don't think they even heard me, being too busy bickering with each other.
So I went back to my room and flopped down on my bed, defeated. I've never cooked a meal before. Bosam would probably like a guy like Wooyoung who has experience with kids and can cook. I have neither. I'm not husband or step-dad material. What do I do?
"What's wrong?" San asked from where he sat at his desk, pausing the game he had been playing and lowering his headphones to hang around his neck as he looked over at me. "Noona and I have plans tonight and I don't know what to do." I said, staring up at the ceiling.
"..Eh? How can you have plans but not know what to do?" He asked, to which I sighed a little, sitting up with a pout on my face. "She said we could cook dinner together and then eat it while watching something." I said, making San smile. "Cute," he said, turning his spinning desk chair to face me.
I smiled a little at that with a small nod. "But the problem is I can't cook, I've never cooked before. She'll be disappointed by my lack of cooking skills."
"Well first of all, our Golden Retreiver is good at everything he does. I've never seen you try something new and be bad at it." San said, making me smile. "Thanks." I said, to which he nodded.
