You groaned, pushing back the currents to allow some sunlight into the room. Some dust flew off the red velvet currents, flowing in the air around you, causing a tickling feeling to move through your nose. A snez was threatening to come out, but within seconds it was gone.
"My dear, was it truly all that necessary to open the currents?" Sulpica asked, looking over the couch at the very pregnant human. A smile formed on the ancient Queen's face as she focused on the small movements of the girls belly. The bay's strange heartbeat flowed around the room like a soft melody.
"Was it really necessary for Aro to lock me in this tower? It's suffocating in here" You shot back, frowning as you waddled over toward the couches, and sat beside the dark hair Queen. Athenadora smiled sadly at you, setting her book down to go collect your tray of food for you.
Placing it on the table in front of you, she went back to sit down. "Thank you." You sighed, leaning forward to remove the lid and see what was prepared for you.
"Of course it was. (Y/N), you are carrying Aro's heir, the future Prince or Princess of the Volturi, and-"
"And I'm also his mistress he spends his nights with when he's to busy to be by his own wife's side. Yes, of course dear Sulipica, it all make since now!" You dramatically gasp while picking up the cup of blood. Just the smell of it made you gag, but apparently the babe in your stomach wasn't so disgusted because they began kicking like crazy.
"You also have spent nights with Sulipica as well...." Didyme drew on, looking down, a smirk on her face as she continued with her embroidery. Your face grew red at your Queens words, and you quickly sat the drink down, swallowing what was in your mouth.
Sulipica laughed, moving in closer to you. "There is nothing to become flustered over." She whispered, laying a gentle kiss to your cheek. Her hand resting on your bump.
"Nor ashamed of," Didyme finally looked at you, placing her hoop down. "We don't choose who we love, little human. For you, you love two people and those two people love you. Love is very powerful, and strange...I mean, I fell in love with my brothers friend and look at me!" Didyme's gift had begun to wrap itself around you, causing you to smile.
All the stress from the pregnancy, and your family finding about your adultery had caused you to be biter towards the ones you loved. Looking over at Sulipica, you captured her lips with your own.
"I am so sorry my love." You whispered to her, trying to blink away the tears that were forming.
Sulipica frowned, and said, "What for? You did nothing wrong."
"I have been so angry about my decisions that I have let it out on you and Aro during this pregnancy. It hurt like hell when my family disowned me, but I mean what should I have expected?" You laughed bitterly at your words. "I am an unmarried woman, carrying a married mans child. I also have slept with said mans wife, and both of them at the same time." You were laughing hysterically now, and the Queens were both confused as to why you found it so funny.
"My love-"
"Let me finish. I have been clothed in such fine clothing, fed as if I were a hundred people trapped in one body, and loved by you all more than my own parents." You finished, allowing the tears to freely fall.
Sulipica smiled, but her eyes were looking at something else. "I appreciate those words (Y/N), I think we both appreciate those words." She spoke softly, causing you to look behind you to see Aro standing there.
He stood tall, a tiny box in his hands as he moved closer toward the couch. You reached out your hand, wanting to feel him. Aro quickly took hold of your hand, kissing your knuckles, while also taking the time to see whatever else was bothering. You knew he'd learn of it sooner or later, so you didn't fight back against his serchings.
He looked at you with a deep sadness. Bending down, he got on your level, casting a quick look at his sister and Athenadora. "We'll leave you three to speak privately." The two were out the door within seconds.
"My dear, I love you with all my heart. You do not have to carry all this stress upon yourself, especially while you are with child. I understand things are rough, but your place is right here with Sulipica and I. We will not neglect you after the baby is born." He spoke softly to you, grazing his thumb over your cheek.
His words brought you great relief, causing your shoulders to slump, and a breath to to leave your mouth.
Looking between the two vampires on either side of you, you knew all would be alright.
