"Kite said we'll always be friends
right?"

Unknown to Killua, Gon wanted to be more than just best friends. And unknown to Gon, Killua wanted the same.
They were now headed in different directions, smiles already faded.
Gon couldn't keep his feelings inside of him anymore, but he was afraid to confess too.

One step farther.

They were getting farther from each other. Should he do it? But, what about his feelings? Would he ruin their freindship at the very last moment?

Two steps.

Just one thing. All he had to do is confess. Nothing wrong could happen, right?

Three steps.

"Thats enough!" He hissed, with that he immediately turned around and sprinted towards Killua.

"Killua!"

And as soon as he turned around, startled. But Gon didn't give him anytime to process what was happening.

Gon quickly yanked Killua on himself as their lips went crashing against each other's.

Killua was blushing intensely while Gon's eyes were getting wet. Eyes shut tigthly as they melted in the sweet kiss.

Both pouring all their emotions into the kiss, it might be their last after all.

Soon, they separated from the kiss as Gon began,
"Despite what I said Killua, I-i wanted us to be more than freinds,"
"Or even best friends!"

Tears were now rolling down from his cheeks.

Killua didn't think of anything now. He just pulled Gon into a tight hug.

"Idiot, this isn't the end of everything." He spoke gently in his shoulder as he began to snuffle.

"Two years..... from now, we'll meet.....
again, okay. A-at Dole..... Harbor"
He said between snuffles.

"Yes!" Gon said, now separating from the hug.

"I promise!" Killua said as he raised his fist in a thumbs up. Smiling.

Gon immediately took his hand,
"This is a pinky promise so if I break it stick a thousand needles in my head!"
He said shaking his hand.

"Now seal it with a kiss!" This made Killua blush slightly.

"B-baka! Its getting late" He said as the promise was made.

"Okay bye, Killua!" He said as they departed.
With genuine smiles this time.

"We'll meet soon, Gon!"
