3RD POV-
Kol had ended up releasing Elijah once he realized he was back to his normal self. After cleaning up, he was by Revna's side. Watching her like a hawk.
"There has to be something we can do." Silas muttered, pacing the room. He kept his distance from Revna, knowing that she was Elijah's. No one thought to even try to talk to the Hybrid. They tried to get Elijah to try and reason with him, but he refused to leave Revna. He had guilt bubbling in him for giving up so easily on her. The moment he had seen she was gone he just flipped his switch. There was something different about the woman that laid in front of him though. The smell or something. Elijah brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear.
"You both slept together." Elijah spoke up. Silas froze. Unsure of how to react to what the noble original had said.
"Excuse me?"
"Don't try to hide it. I can smell you on her." Elijah responded, not once looking away from the woman who laid before him. "I'm not mad. You two had something before she even knew me, before I was born."
"It was a one time thing- She called it closure." Silas explained. Elijah nodded. He was upset, but understood. He knew his brother would have a fit though. That's another reason to add to not going to talk to him.
"Thank you, by the way." Silas snapped his gaze to look at the Original, confused. "If you hadn't of snapped some sense into me, I would still be chained up."
"Anything for Revna." Silas muttered, his eyes trained on his friend.
"Do you love her?" Elijah's question threw Silas for a loop. Shocked him greatly.
"She's my best friend." Elijah shook his head, casting his gaze towards the older warlock.
"That's not what I asked." Silas sighed. Pausing his pacing.
"I do." Elijah nodded, "But not the way you do." Elijah looked back to him, raising an eyebrow. "I thought I did. She's amazing you know? Forgiving. Brave. Beautiful. She would drop everything for the ones she loves. She brought so much light to my life. She will always be my best friend and I love her like that."
"Didn't she betray you?" Silas chuckled.
"She did that to help me though. She always was one step ahead of people. When Qetsiyah was a threat, she moved herself to be involved so she would know the solution." Elijah smiled slightly.
"She is amazing like that." Elijah agreed.
"Do you think she'll pull through?" Silas asked, moving his eyes to look at his friend. Her skin was pale, but you could still see the fight she was putting up. Her eyes jolting around under her eyelids. Sweat building up on her skin. It truly looked as if she had a bad flu or something.
"She will. She's strong. Stronger than any of us."
"If I had gotten to her quicker-" Elijah shook his head.
"You couldn't have stopped her. She had a plan. You said it yourself, she is always one step ahead. She knew what she was doing. We just have to believe in her and wait for her to come back to us.' He moved a cool rag, dabbing her forehead, clearing the sweat from her skin.
"Do you love her?" Silas questioned. Elijah froze, not from shock of the question, but in thought. His warm hazel eyes examining the beautiful woman in front of him.
"I do."
