Never Forgotten (Sariel x Reader)

When Y/n awoke, it was to a loud commotion at the base of castle, just outside. Groggily, she sat up on her bed, rubbing her eyes and wincing. There were still sharp pains everywhere in her body, and she still felt nearly paralyzed. However, Y/n was able to walk around slowly. 

Maybe I should try to float. I have the mental power to do so.

With that thought in mind, Y/n slowly floated off the floor, concentrating on her body weight, which was in ratio to her brain power. She sighed softly in relief, her feet barely off the ground yet just enough for her to not cause any more damage to her body. Oh, but she wished that Arthur would carry her around...

No! she thought. Stop thinking like that.. you have a lover waiting for you, and he's going to be here at some point! Don't kill off anyone else...

She floated down to the commotion down at the castle and saw Gowther in a pillar's wall, and a new person's face. Y/n tilted her head in confusion.

"W-Who are you..?" Y/n asked.

The seemingly young boy who was floating, along with a green pillow, looked to her and took a stance. 

"I'm King, The Grizzly Sin of Sloth," He answered, his brows furrowed.

Y/n smiled softly. "The name's Y/n. I'm sorry, I must have frightened you." She floated over to the group and next to Meliodas.

"I see you're back up, Y/n," he grinned, looking slightly up at her. "I didn't know you could float in the condition you're in."

"Well floating doesn't require any physical power for me, only brain power," she answered.

Meliodas smirked and nudged her softly. "Then why did you have Arthur carry you~?"

Y/n shook her head. "Well, when all you feel is a white, searing pain everywhere, it gets hard to think. Besides, he insisted so don't even try." An irk mark appeared on her head.

"Well captain," King started, looking back at him. "I'm going after Diane even if-"

Everyone soon started running, along with a floating Y/n, who giggled softly. "Come on, don't just stand there! We can look for her right now!" 

King smiled and flew towards them. Slader picked up Gowther, and everyone ran to Hawk's Mom.

"So, where should we start?" King asked.

Meliodas explained how before Diane became a part of the sins, she was still living in her hometown, Megadoza. They decided it'd be best to start there. 

Y/n looked to the side to see Arthur there and she flinched slightly, surprised to see him there. "Arthur?! When were you here? I thought you were still at the castle."

"Well I wanted to tag along and become stronger with you guys," He smiled warmly.

Y/n nodded and looked to the other side, only to see King right in front of her. She floated back and sweat dropped. "Uhh... hello there, King."

"Y/n, something about you seems off, and I'm not fond of it. What are you hiding? And how are you floating?" He asked. It seemed like he was throwing questions at her left and right. Her mind could barely keep up.

"Well, I'm Meliodas's childhood friend. I'm not really hiding anything and I was taught to float by my parents..." Y/n trailed off softly at the mention of parents. She picked herself up, and looked at King. "Anything else?"

King shook his head. "You seem okay, I guess. Though, I need to know more about you before I get comfortable."

Y/n nodded in understanding, and floated around Hawk's Mom's back, thinking about everything.
