(d/n) and (m/n) (l/n) were both magic users who fell in love with each other and got married. (d/n) was also a king of a small kingdom in the mountains called (k/n). His family built it and owned it for generations. The castle actually much higher in the mountains than the actual kingdom. The love the 2 had made a child. The boy was named (y/n). He was the only child in the family now, He had gotten powerful magic from both parents. He trained his magic and fighting skills. His parents where proud of him and the people loved him. He knew his family sides were both born with magic and had it in their bloodline for a long time. They tried to keep their magic a secret because the people might be scared of it. One day, a kingdom attacked their home and went to war. Without (y/n), (k/n) would have been dead already without the power he has. The other kingdom had a few spellcasters and (k/n) was losing. They attacked (k/n) main kingdom one day. The (l/n)s got them out but (d/n) and (m/n) showed their magic. (y/n) went to spy on the other kingdom but came home to see a fire outside of the (k/n). (y/n) went to see what happened and saw monks and the priest of the church in front of it. (y/n) then heard screams. It was his mom and dad burning.
(y/n): MOOOOOOMMM!!! DAAAAAADD!!!!
He tried to get to them, but the monks all managed to hold him back until his parents died. After he knelled down in sorrow.
(y/n): why?
Priest: I'm sorry, but your parents did cursed magic. They had to burn and are now damned.
(y/n): my family protected you and everyone here for years
Monk: It had to be done. It's what god may have wanted.
(y/n) felt anger and rage. He took his sword and attacked the monks. He showed off his magic and saved the priest for last.
Priest: mercy!
(y/n): did you or the monks give my parents mercy?
He then killed the Priest. He looked over the dead bodies then looked up the sky.
(y/n): IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT GOD!!! IF SO THEN I WILL NO LONGER FOLLOW YOU!!!
No one pov:
(y/n) made the scene look like the enemy attacked the men of the church. No one knew someone was watching him for a while and became interested in him. They had something powerful that they can't use for themselves but can give it to him.
???: I suppose it's my time to shine
They gave a smirk as they were watching (y/n).
