The Avengers-6 Soulmates

"Okay Thor remember you need to be quiet with her as she frightens easy" I say walking in to the living room where everyone was waiting for food to arrive while I went up to collect Alpine.

I thought it was best to bring her down here since we were all to watch a movie soon anyway and I didn't wanna leave her alone for too long.

Everyone was now sitting on the couches Bruce, Thor, Loki, Steve and Sam were the most excited to meet the kitten as they sat next to each other "she is so small" Bruce whispers in surprise as I place her down on Thor's lap first.

Thor and Loki did Mjonir, Scepter, Gugnir.

Apparently it is their version of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Thor ended up wining because he knew Loki would read his mind. So he put an answer in the front of his mind but picked the opposite last second making Loki scowl accusing him of cheating but as Thor reminded him.

Reading someone else's mind to find the answer is cheating.

"A little creature of fur" Thor coos over the kitten, the kitten liking Thor much to my amusement as Bruce leaned over speaking to it "hello Alpine I hope we can become good friends" he says in a soft voice not wanting to hold her but wanted to meet her.

Bruce said he hates holding anything delicate which made me sad he was afraid but I respected it hoping in time he will see he will be okay.

"She is so weak" Loki notices and I nod moving her to his lap slowly "I left a message with my friend we should get a vet appointment in a day or too" Nat promises from the corner and I thank her.

It is much quicker than what we would have got if we called a normal vet.

"I always knew your mama was a cat" Loki whispers to the kitten. I would normally argue but he looked cute playing with her ears watching the small kitten with interest.

"I should give your mama ears so you can match" he mumbles making me give him a look that I would kill him if he tried "wait! so you are the mother to this fluffy creature?" Thor asks in surprise loudly making Alpine meow at him.

"No Thor they refer to her as its mum because-" Bruce begins to explain as Clint laughs at his question "idiot oaf" Loki glares as I then give her to Steve trusting him. Sam and Steve both smiles seeing her "welcome to the family Alpine" Steve whispers "yeah we are used to picking up strays" Sam says "right Buck?"

Bucky glares at him from across the room "you forget you weren't picked up until Civil war without that you wouldn't be here Falcon" he grumbles making Steve and some of the others laugh and I pass her to Sam who smiles down at the kitten "much prettier than that white wolf huh? Why did we even let him pick your name"

"Because I am the dad" Bucky says in a stern voice getting a few grins or laughs from the group "what?! No I was there when we found her I am the dad" Pietro says standing "why would she want to mortals as the father when she can have a god?" Loki scoffs.

"Erm guys you realise it's a cat right? Neither of you can be the dad" Bruce says annoyed by the bickering "Nah let them!" Clint says "yeah I think you should all fight for the kitten's honour" Nat adds in "yes to the death!" Sam also adds making Wanda and Thor laugh.

"Tony do you want to?" I asked nodding to the kitten moving her of Sams lap.

Tony sat away from everyone on the single circle couch.

Peter was coming back first thing in the morning so he would meet her then. Tony said earlier Morgan and Pepper had gone home a day early since the security and work done on their house was complete but they both want to come back and visit in a few days to see us.
