Chapter 3: Better Luck Next Time

Vi smacked her gauntlets together, jumping onto the railing and running towards him. Ready to swing down a hit when she was caught by the throat

"Vi!" They shouted in fear. The monster threw Vi down as she bounced across the bridge. Gasping Powder pulled the box in front of them opening it up.

She pulled out the toy monkey and opened its head. Y/n pulled out two of the crystals and placed them into the open hatch

Tying on a third crystal around its neck hanging where the now nail covered cymbals would hit it. She placed its head back on. There was a loud bang from the monster, Powder starred down the monkey. "You have to work. For me. Okay?" It only chittered in response

She winded it up and placed it inside. The cymbals crashed slightly as the monkey began walking causing sparks to fizz off the crystal. They ducked together behind the wall for protection covering their ears, waiting. 

And when nothing happened they looked towards each other confused glimpsing inside to see the monkey hit the crystal once more causing the whole place to explode in blue light. The force pushing them off the ledge

Blue clouds formed above, they were stunning. As they fell the two looked to each other, smiling at the thought of what they managed to accomplish. Electricity sizzled around, Y/n reached out for Powders hand, pulling her into her arms as the roughly landed.

"Ow.." Y/n mumbled glancing down to where Powder was on top of her. "Hey there" she smirked towards the girl. Flushed, Powder quickly got off, pulling the feline up as well. 

"It worked" she smiled, choosing to ignore how red Y/n had made her face. Grabbing onto the stuffed rabbit she ran to find Vi with Y/n in tow. They rounded the corner to the other side "Vi, it worked" she cheerfully yelled to the pinkette 

"Did you see us?" Y/n added running up behind "The monkey bomb finally worked!"

They're expression fell when they saw Vi's "you did this?" Eyes widened when they noticed Vanders lifeless body behind Vi. The buildings flames raging on in the background "Why? Why did you do this?"

Their Eyes watered. Powder sniffled, "I.. I didn't. We were saving you." She looked to the floor avoiding Vi's glare, seeing Claggors bloodied googles instead. She sobbed

"We only wanted to help" Y/n cried "We only want to help" Y/n frantically looked at their surroundings, settling in the damage they truly had done

"I told you to stay away"

"Please. Please. Please--"

"I told you to stay away!" Vi screamed slapping Y/n across the face, the girl fell to the ground

"No. Why did you leave me?!" Powder shouted. Vi lunged forward grabbing Powders face

"Because you're a jinx. Do you hear me? Mylo was right. You're both screw ups?" Y/n scrambled up to them clawing at VI's arm to let Powder go, only for Vi to roughly shove her away

"No. No. No. No. Violet, please." Powders nose began to bleed with the pressure as her cries continued. Vi let go, her hand shook. "Violet please!"

Vi ignored them in favor of walking away. The rain began to heavily pour as Powder pleaded for her sister to return. Laying her head against the floor

Y/n could only shut down, curling up as she whimpered, "No. Not again, please. Not again. Don't leave me! Please Violet!" 

'They always leave'

'She can never do anything right'

'She fucked up, now everyone's dead'

"Please.. no.." 

But Vi was long out of sight once Silco stood above the two shaking girls.

He kneeled in front of them, "Hello, little girls" Powder stopped to look up at him, "where's your sister?" Powder only released one last sob before she lunged at him throwing him off balanced as she hung onto his torso.

"She left us." Powder stated bitterly. Y/n glimpsed at the two, her chin quivered as she crawled over to them seeking comfort from someone, anyone, she curled up to Silco's side, hiding her face against his chest. "She's not my sister anymore"

Silco paused, slowly wrapping his arms around the girls, pulling them into a soft hug, "it's okay." He whispered with understanding and empathy "We'll show them."

"We will show them all."

I fuckin hate How this chapter came out. But I have no clue on how to f i x it. But whatever, I needed to push through so we can get to the gays. 

Anywho my bsf needs to stop bullying me over the tail or I'm shanking them. For the last time this was a half baked idea, and I'm just going along with what I write, literally making plot changes half way through writing that don't fuckin line up with earlier chapters. Smh

Hshshshsh I gotta figure out the order I wanna write the next chapters cause I'm giving some stuff of what happens between the time skip. So if you have anything you'd like me to write nows the chance to ask <3
