Part 4- Hey, Baby

Start from the beginning

"I remembered something about my life... it was something about when I spoke to you last." Ghostbur looked at his hands. They were covered in blue.

"I'm listening, Ghostbur. What did you remember?" You took Ghostbur's hands into yours, not caring about the blue staining them.

"I remember telling you everything was going to be okay while smelling something burning. I told you not to worry. I was staring at the TNT when I hung up the phone." Ghostbur whispered the last few words. Tears brimmed your eyes as you squeezed his hands tighter.

"And then I..." Ghostbur trailed off as he shifted his eyes to focus on something behind you. His eyes widen as he jumped up from his seat and took a step back. You quickly stood up from the bench as well, your back hitting a tall, metal figure.

You froze as your head made a ting sound as it bounced off the unknown man. You slowly turned around and immediately took a step back.

"Sam..." You whispered, almost too quite for anyone to hear. "Ghostbur, go, now." You pushed Ghostbur out of the garden as you took another shaky step backwards.

"Hey, baby." Sam grinned, stepping closer to the two of you.

"Ghostbur, you need to go, now! Go back to the community!" You finally shouted, not wanting him to see the interaction between you and Sam. Ghostbur agreed and immediately began his way through the desert.

"What are you doing here?" You asked as you continued to keep your distance from Sam.

"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." Sam held his hands out in front of him to show you he had no ill intentions.

"How am I suppose to believe you?" You were inching closer to another building, running out of space to create between the two of you. You had to make a decision quick.

"Please, y/n, just trust me. I'm not going to hurt you." Sam began picking up his speed toward you. You quickly turned and started running.

"Quackity! Quackity!" You shouted at the top of your lungs, hoping to get his attention from across the country. "Help me!"

"Y/n! Stop, dammit!" Sam was gaining on you.

"He's going to kill me! Quackity!" You screamed again as you passed in front of the main casino.

"I'm not going to hurt you!" Sam grabbed the back of your shirt, forcing you to stop moving. You struggled with his grip, sending yourself to the ground as tears formed in your eyes once more.

"Let go!" You tried to claw your way out of his grasp. "Please!"

"Stop yelling, please." Sam held your arms together to stop you from hitting him. "Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you."

"Let go of me! Quackity!" You shouted once more in hopes to get his attention, but you knew in the back of your mind that he was too far away to hear you.

"Shhh! Calm down!" Sam shouted in a whisper tone. After a couple more moments of struggling, you stopped fighting him. "Jesus, I forgot how much of a fighter you are." Sam pulled you off the ground, but didn't let go of your wrists.

"What are you doing here?" You wiped your face on the sleeve of your shoulder.

"I came to give you something." He replied, tightening your hands together.

"I thought you were going to kill me!" You shouted once more. "Why did you say if I ever see you again, I'll kill you as I left the prison, if you didn't mean it?"

"I had to make sure you weren't going to come back to the SMP or the prison. Do you know how people would react if they saw you had escape? It could start another war, y/n." Sam released his grip on you as he spoke. You could tell by the tone of his voice that he was telling the truth.

"Why are you here?" You took a step back away from him. Sam reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, yet very familiar item. You put your hands to your mouth once you realized what it was.

"I fixed your necklace." Sam held out your lost jewelry. You quickly took the necklace your mother had given you and immediately examined it.

It looked exactly the same from when it was taken from you besides a portion of the chain that had been replaced. There was a small section of the worn chain where Sam had replaced it with new, bright chain to restore its original length.

"Thank you..." You whispered, clipping it behind your neck. You slipped the jewelry under your shirt and held it close to your body.

Sam adjusted his position and looked at the ground. "I shouldn't have broken it in the beginning."

"Sam, you have no idea how much this necklace means to me." You ran your finger over the metal sunflower attached to the golden chain. "I was so heart broken when you took it from me."

Sam cleared his throat, "Is there somewhere we can go and talk?"

"Erh, I guess we can go to my room, but we can't let Quackity see you. He doesn't quite like you right now." You led Sam to Quackity's house, looking around each corner for Quackity.

The two of you ran down the hallways and up the stairs to your room. Once both of you were inside the room, you shut the door and locked it.

"I couldn't help but noticed you still wear my crown." Sam chuckled as he sat on the edge of your bed. You shoved your lips into his in response, climbing on top of him. Sam roughly  pulled your body closer.

"I've missed that..." You spoke in between breathes.

"Me too."
