Ten and Johnny watched the two who were hugging happily, they were so adorable.
"Alright, you lovebirds it's time for us to hit the road" Ten interrupted them with a smile.
On their way, they stopped at the Convenience Store. Jaehyun bought him his sweet as promised. He tried his best not to go to sleep but car rides always made him drowsy. He fell asleep on Jaehyuns shoulder, thankfully he woke up a little before they arrived at his parent's house.
He peaked out the window. The apartments were old but functional. He saw a lady walking her dog outside, he felt the urge to get out of the car and pet it and another to stay in the car not wanting to get close to the apartments.
Jaehyun P.O.V
Jaehyun helped Taeyong out of the car, he was holding Tokki tightly clearly nervous. He took his hand lightly squeezing it, smiling at him.
"Remember I'm here and if it gets too scary or hard just tell me and we'll leave right away."
He nodded his head, squeezing his hand back.
They stood in front of their door. Johnny was trying his best to remain calm, thank god Ten was here. Jaehyun had heard how bad things got for them after the Mr. Gwan situation and how his mother constantly nitpicked and miss treated Taeyong. Honestly, he's surprised Taeyong still cares so much for her but what else can he expect, his baby has the purest heart in this entire world.
The door opened with a creak. His dad had opened the door, Johnny looked a lot more like him now that they were older. He remembers meeting both of his parents only a couple of times when they used to go to summer camp together. His dad looks more tired now and not freshly shaven as he used to be all the time.
"Oh good you're here, please come in."
They all followed him inside. There wasn't much to look at except for some beer bottles and papers scattered everywhere. Taeyong gripped Jaehyuns arm while looking around. Jaehyun noticed his dad looking Taeyong up and down with a worried expression.
"Taeyong you wouldn't happen to have any extra clothes in that bag?"
Jaehyun squinted his eyes, so did Johnny.
"What he has on is fine" Johnny spat out.
"Hyunnie what's wrong with what I'm wearing?"
"Nothing baby, you look so cute!" he pinched his cheeks.

With long white socks, matching shoes, and a bucket hat.
He remembered Johnny told him that his mom used to hate it when Taeyong dressed
'Girly' he rolled his eyes thinking about it.
Taeyong smiled slightly walking over to his dad giving him a hug.
"Daddy? Where's mommy?"
"She's in her room."
"Why did you invite us over?" Johnny asked plainly.
"Johnny, ask a little nicer" Ten smiled.
Johnny lets out a huff, Taeyong sat next to them on the couch.
"I was thinking we could all have a nice dinner together like we used to. I already have some things cooking."
Taeyong jumps up excitedly.
"Can Yongie help you make deserts?"
"Of course."
Jaehyun leans over by Johnny.
"He seems sincere John" he whispers.
"Ok."

Most of the night went smoothly, Taeyong was laughing and smiling, even Johnny grinned a few times. Their mom was still in her room. Once they finished cooking, no one saw Taeyong go into the room.
Taeyong P.O.V
Taeyong noticed his mom still was nowhere to be seen. Maybe she wasn't feeling well. He gathered a plate together with food and sneaked into her room. There were a lot more bottles and she was laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
"Hi, mommy".
She turned her head and looked at Taeyong. She looked older than what he remembered. She said nothing, she called him over with her hand.
"I-Um brought you some food."
She just stared at him, her face was stern and irritated.
"Uh-Johnny is here too"
Her eyes perk to life a bit when he mentions Johnny making Taeyong smile a bit. He tries to give her the plate but she grabs his arm.
"You should eat mommy, it's really good I promise."
He feels her grab his arm tighter, he saw it changing color.
"Why are you here? And What are you wearing? You're supposed to look like a regular boy." he whispers.
"Mommy you're hurting me"
Her eyes go crazy and she smacks his arm making the food fall, and plate break. She pulls him by the arm.
"Don't call me that!"
They all come crashing into the room, Jaehyun pulls him back as Johnny blocks them. Jaehyun looks at his hurt arm worried.
"Don't touch him" Johnny spoke loudly.
His mom's eyes became normal again. She walked weakly towards Johnny touching his face smiling.
"Oh, my son. Look at you all grown up. You're so handsome, why don't you ever visit?".
Johnny moves her hands away.
"Don't touch me, Why would I visit you?"
Taeyong felt himself getting teary-eyed. His mom looked hurt by Johnny and Johnny looked angry. He didn't want either of them to be hurting.
"Mommy?"
She turned her head fast, her face changed again. She ran over to him quickly, Jaehyun wasn't able to react fast enough.
"You!" she grabbed his hair pulling it, "This is all your fault just like last time. We had to leave, my reputation ruined all because you wanted to wear girly clothes to school and seduce a teacher."
"You know that's not what happened!" Johnny yelled.
"Let go!" Ten and their dad screamed.
They pulled her off of Taeyong, making her let go of his hair. Taeyong ran into Jaehyuns arms, maybe his mom just didn't like him anymore.
"We're going to go now, ok Bubu?"
He just nodded his head. Jaehyun picked him up, taking him back to the car. Johnny stayed inside with Ten as they talked. Jaehyun wrapped him in his blanket and calmed him down by petting his hair.
"I'm sorry that didn't go as well as we hoped" he kissed his head.
"It's okay Hyunnie" Taeyong smiled, "It still hurts, but I have you, Hyung, Ten, and all my friends to make it go away. I don't need anything but you guy."
He kissed Jaehyuns lips, happily, he really meant what he said.
