lunch

"Kiyo I'm dying," you whine to the dark haired girl beside you. You no longer have to help the boys study at lunch, they would've already taken all their exams and now you are just waiting for the results to get back.

"Why are you dying y/n-chan?" She asks looking over at you. "Did something happen on your jog this morning with Ushijima?"

"Ugh you know me so well Kiyo, but yes something did happen and it was a big something,"

"Well get on with it and tell me, we don't have all day ya know," she complained.

"Ok ok, so I went earlier to jog this morning so I could avoid Ushijima, since I ya know I got a lil crushy, anyways I went on my jog but he was there too! It was like he also went early to avoid me," I started and looked over at Kiyoko who looked very invested in my story.  "right so I said the we had the same idea but it didn't work right so we just jogged like normal until I brought up the fact that I won't be here for a bit and then gave him a slip with my number on it, and when he went to grab it he grabbed my hand and put me against a wall and we kinda maybe made out," you said getting quieter as the sentence progressed

"You what?!" she exclaimed.

"We may or may not have had a very heated make-out session and he called me little one," you said shamelessly

"Well damn y/n. Get it I guess. What happened after you made out?"

"Well he said that he'll see me when I get back and ran away," you began "I was gonna go after him, but I was a little bit occupied with my thoughts and emotions," as you finish telling her the rest of the story she lightly slaps your arm.

"Well that was stupid of you. You should've went after him and gave you a piece of you mind since he left you there all confused,"  she voiced.

"I know, I know. He has my number though so maybe he'll text me."

"He better or I'll give him a piece of my mind."

"Yea right!" you snorted.

𝐰. 𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐣𝐢𝐦𝐚

"Ushi what is wrong with you, you've been out of it all day," Tendou says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm well something happened this morning while I was on my morning run as per usual, well not usual since I went earlier to avoid her, but then she wa-" I got cut off.

"Wait, wait, wait who is she, and how come I've never heard of her before?" he yelled.

"Oh, y/n l/n. Second year manager at Karasuno. We run together every morning. So I went earlier to avoid her but she was there so it was like we both wanted to avoid each other but failed."

"Wait why did you want to avoid her?" He asks visibly confused.

"Well I think of her all the time, and she makes me feel warm and my heart beat faster when I see her, like faster than normal when I go out for a run. I don't really know what it is so I decided to not see her anymore and go early," I stated bluntly.

"Woah, Ushi you have a crush on her!" Tendou exclaimed.

"A crush? No I do not." I say.

"Yes you do, a crush is literally what you said. Thinking of her all the time, makes you feel warm and your heart beat faster. Anyways though finish the story and I'll explain more after."

"Well we were running together and then she told me she was going out of town for a bit and I got really sad, but she gave me her number. Though I didn't only take her number I took her hand and push her behind a building and we kinda kissed for a long time."

"You did what?! You're telling me that you got sad when she told you she was leaving for a bit but then proceeded to make out with her for god knows how long!!" He exclaims.

"Uh yea,"

"Buddy you don't have a crush, you have completely fallen,"

"But I didn't fall."

"No not literally fall, you fell for her, like in love duh. Now what did you say after you made out?" he inquired. Hmm love, I guess I do. She is in the same category as Volleyball in my brain so I guess I wouldn't mind her as a girlfriend or more later on. I mean who wouldn't she's the whole package and more. Plus we could have very tall and athletic babies. 

"Well I told her that I would see her when she gets back, and then I ran back home," I say bluntly.

"Nooooo! No no no Ushi you left her there in her thoughts?! That's so bad you better text her or I swear I will," Tendou voiced.

"Well then what do I text her?" I ask.

"Hmmm text her a picture, You already made out with her on the street so I think a nice picture after your run tomorrow will be great." He exclaims.

"Hmm," I guess I could do that and tell her that I missed her on our run. Yea I'll do that.
