? Anything For You ?

Start from the beginning

When you and Killua were both very young, he'd pick on you, about your looks, weight, how you'd act, everything. But it wasn't as intense as it was today.

Sometimes, he would give you a small smile, or even hold your hand when you had fallen over. But that was only sometimes. Just those little gestures made you love him more than anything, even more than yourself.

You had come home one day, crying to your parents about what the 6 year old Killua had been saying to you that day, but they'd have no empathy. "Just smile, that'll help you."

So you did, you smiled when he called you fat, you smiled when he make fun of your clothing, and you'd smile when he laughed at you. You felt as though if you didn't smile, you'd be letting your parents down.

You were 17, and the bullying had been a lot worse. Killua wouldn't really touch you, but his girlfriend would for him.

Hitting, pulling, slapping, scratching, everything. But you'd smile... no matter what.

Koko would tell you to go kill yourself A LOT. But Killua never did. You'd do anything for him, because you loved him with all your being. He would sometimes tell you to fall into a river off a bridge, or give yourself bruises by punching yourself, and you'd do it.

It amused him in such a way, that he would purposely tell you to do something, and watch you do it.

People made fun of you because you were naive, simple, and cheerful in the wrong moments. You always spoke politely, because that's how your father spoke.

He died in a fire last year, so you wanted to make your mother happy by speaking how he did. But she still was cold to you, as always.

You tucked your hair behind your left ear and shut your locker, wiping your tears and making your way to your class.

"Aaaaand you're late, L/N-san."

You bowed all the way down to the female teacher and the students snicker. "Gosh, go to your seat." She sighed, waving you off.

As you walked to your seat, you had to dodge multiple legs that were poking out to trip you. Just as you thought you had gotten past them all, a sneaky student flicked his leg out just as you were stepping.

You fell forward, bracing yourself with your hands and your books cluttering everywhere. The whole class uproared with laughter, you laughed along with them despite the pain in your hands and the embarrassment stabbing your chest.

"Fucking loser!" Someone snickered. "So laughable! Damn do I wish Killua and Koko were here to see this."

More laughter erupted over the  students as you finally sat down. Thankfully there was no gum or  needles on your seat this time.

The teacher shook her head and sighed, and continued to tap away on her laptop.

10 minutes into the lesson, and a scrunched piece paper was thrown at your face, hitting your eye and then your desk. You looked up in surprise, ignoring the stinging sensation where a sharp corner of the paper had scraped along.

The female who had thrown it mouthed for you to open it. She had a kind smile, it made you feel like someone was there for you.

You opened the paper with an excited smile, before it dropped slightly.

'Die.'

You looked up again with a smile, her kind smile was long gone. "Thank you!" You mouthed. She clicked her tongue in irritation and looked away.
