Your POV
It genuinely felt good to get my family issues out in the air to someone. Loki was a great listener and already a friend to me. Learning he had similar issues with Odin, well, it was surprising, yet it wasn't. As I said before, Asgard favors the eldest child. I really felt this connection, and we talked for hours, but I knew I needed a little sleep before morning. I went back to my room and managed to get a few hours of sleep in before the sun came piercing through my window. I hadn't even changed. I shrugged it off and figured I'd go out and train, then bathe. I got up out of bed and tied my hair up to keep it out of my face. No one was at the training area for once, so I just practiced my bow skills. I hit almost every target on point. I was getting bored. I was feeling sort of lonely, too. I started to climb up onto different heights to try and test my skills, but even after that, I was bored. I was running and firing, doing flips, but it wasn't the same as the thrill of battle, which I was itching to get to.
I sighed and started to put my bow away until I heard a voice I had thought about much last night while trying to sleep. "Lonely?" I scoffed, "Yeah. Are you here to relieve me of that burden? Or are you just here to annoy me?" "Hmmm... maybe." I shot an arrow above Loki's head. "You missed." I smiled and walked up to him as he pulled the arrow out of the surrounding wall. "Yes, because I would purposefully aim at a prince of Asgard, effectively either sentencing me to death, prison, or to be married off to whoever my father so chooses, which is basically another form of prison." Loki chuckled, "I wouldn't let them do that to you." I smirked at him and took the arrow from him, "Yeah? How would you, when you'd be dead?" I stuck my tongue out at him while I went to gather the other arrows. He just materialized them in his hand. I rolled my eyes. "Like I could forget your magical prowess." I grabbed them from him and went to put them and the bow away. "You know, I could train with you. You might even learn something." I saw the smirk on his face and knew I had to wipe it off. "Oh, really? Then show me what you got." I stalked over towards him, narrowing my eyes, hoping to strike some kind of fear, or really anything, into the god of mischief. "Right now?" "Right now, your grace."
"Any rules?" "As if you'd listen to them anyway." Loki pretended to be hurt. I smiled, "The only rule I have is no stabbing." "Oh, that's no fun." I got down in my fighting stance. "I know, but it's more to protect me from getting in trouble for harming you, your highness." I did a small curtsy and laughed. He opened his arms wide as if he was going to just let me have the first shot. I wasn't dumb. I tried sweeping his feet out from under him, but he jumped up, dodging the kick. I rolled out of the way before he could kick me. The fight felt almost like a dance. The thought made me chuckle as I deflected his fists. We kept going hit for hit, and we both caught each other's fists. He was staring at me, straight into my eyes. Rather than get distracted, I feigned distraction and then took my chance. I kicked his feet out from under him, but he knew better, apparently.
As he went down, he also kicked my foot. We both fell hard. I started to get off of him since I landed on top. I was laughing too hard to pay attention. As I was getting up, he rolled us over, and he pinned my wrists to the ground. I was surprised. "I win, princess." I felt awkward, but when he called me princess, I laughed. "Princess?" Loki looked smug as hell. "I have to have something to call you by." "You could try my name, you know." "Well, that's no fun; everyone calls you that." I thought for a second as he moved his hands off my wrists. I then pushed up on his chest, causing him to fall backward. I jumped up to my feet and put my foot down on his chest. "Now, I win." I gave him a shitty grin and continued the conversation, "What happened to Lady (Y/n) or my lady?" He laughed as I took my foot off his chest. "It's a term of respect used by many; besides, I prefer giving you a more noble name than that." I lent him my hand to help him up, and his laughter became more mischievous. He pulled me down on top of him. I laughed until I started looking into his green eyes. "Has anyone ever told you that you have really pretty eyes?"
