A New Eclipse - Zatz x OC (Maya and The Three) - DISCONTINUED

After the coronation is crashed by two uninvited guests, King Teca and his Jaguar sons decide to fight them off.

"In the name of Teca attack!" The King commanded with a scream as he and the Jaguars leapt into action, sprinting down the pyramid's steps before launching themselves into the air, screaming out battle cries, and landing in battle poses. The King let out a cocky laugh as his macuahuitls landed in his hands. Loba rolls her eyes and crosses her arms as Zatz lets out a groan and pinches the bridge of his nose, shaking his head.

"I can defend our people too!" Maya cried as guards held her back.

"Listen to me, Maya. It is not our place." The Queen explained. "Let your father and brothers handle this." She turned and gasped as a bellowing horn was sounded by Zatz below. Loud rumbling and thudding was heard as the volcano puffed out more smoke, and something big made it's way into the Square, bats screeching as they took flight from the trees. Two large stone heads rolled into the Square, landing between Zatz and Loba and their skeletal mount, who roared as more and more stones rolled in. The stones began to collide together before turning themselves into two stone giants.

"You left us no choice." Zatz stated as the stone giants stood behind them.

"By the gods." The King said in awe as the giants towered over him, snarling as they stood at their full height.

"I can help!" Maya begged, only to be blocked by the guards again. Loba and Zatz turned to each other silently and nodded in an unspoken agreement, before turning their backs on the crowd and beginning to walk away to take their leave.

"Boys, get the kids." The King started before laughing excitedly. "I'll take the stone giants."

"Got it! Behold the light of Teca!" The Jaguar triplets said in unison before sprinting at the two intruders. "Lance! Daggers! Shield!" They yelled as they pounced on the two intruders with a battle cry, who suddenly made shields appear out of thin air in yellow and green flames.

The Jaguars attempted to fight off the two intruders, throwing all they had at the two as they avoided each hit, neither intruder going out of their way to try and hurt the triplets.

"We will not fight you." Zatz grunted as each brother tried to hit him.

"You will never take our sister alive!" Lance said as he swung at Loba,who just kept avoiding each hit with ease, giggling like a child. "You two monsters are no match for three handsome jaguars!" He teased as he danced around with his lance.

"Go back to whatever cave you crawled out of, beasts!" Dagger said as he leaped off Lance's back, throwing down a shower of daggers onto Loba and Zatz, who gracefully avoided each one. "Know the Kingdom of Teca does not fear the dark gods! Even really beautiful ones!" He announced as he threw more daggers at Loba, who dodged nearly all of them, except one, which nearly hit her in the face, making her flinch, only for Zaz to catch it in his hand with a 'clang', before throwing it right back at Daggers. Daggers gasped and ducked out of the way as Shield blocked his brother's face.

"My jaguar brothers and I have trained our whole lives to fight scum like you!" Shield yelled as each brother got into a battle pose as he threw his shield at Zatz, who caught it with ease, narrowly avoiding stabbing his hand with the obsidian.

"We are done here." He hissed and said to the brothers before he looked to Loba. "Take them down." He commanded before throwing Shield's shield to the ground. Loba nodded and sprinted directly at the brothers, blowing some kind of bright power in their faces. They coughed and gagged, trying to swat it away from their faces before promptly passing out one by one.

"Brothers!" Maya cried, terrified. The Barbarian King whistled, looking at the aftermath of the battle.

"They good." He grinned, nodding his head. His daughter looked at the two warriors and had a big dopey grin on her face as she looked at Zatz.

"Yeah. He fights pretty well too." She smiled, impressed. Her father stared at the two intruders, then Zatz and let out a confused 'huh?'.

"Hey! Over here, stone face!" The King called to one of the giants, who swung and missed him, knocking over the other giant, who broke into pieces. The King jumped over to the other giant, grabbing onto it's head and decapitating it. The King screamed and laughed as all the stones fell around him, masterfully dodging each one. However, one of the giant's arms landed on top of his hand, crushing it beneath it's weight, making him cry out in pain.

Maya had had enough and climbed out of her royal dress, her everyday clothes underneath and climbed onto Chiapa's back, making her way down to her father and brothers.

The King climbed out of the rubble and stood triumphantly on the giants' corpses.

"Hey, niños monstruos, is that all the gods sent?" He said with a chuckle as the crowd roared with cheers and applause.

"We will not fight you King Teca." Zatz said, making his helmet reappear in a puff of green flames, placing it on his head. "It is clear your hurt." He explained, climbing onto his mount's back. Loba nodded and fixed her mask onto her face as Zatz helped her up. The mount roared as they both were on.

"Listen here kids." The King laughed as he bandaged his hand. "You tell your gods that if they want my daughter, they will have to rip her away from my cold, dead arms." He spat, venom in every word "Am I understood?" He asked. The two teens were silent for a moment before nodding.
"We understand." Loba acknowledged as the King fell to his knees, Chiapa and Maya right behind him.

"I assure you, the god of war will not be pleased." Zatz admiteded, only to receive glares from Maya and the King, and a roar from Chiapa. "Be well, Princess Maya." He started as he and Loba took a slight bow as the mount turned away. "We'll see you soon." He added as they left the Square, disappearing into the treeline, the flag bursting into green flames behind them.

To Teca, this meant war. 

A/N: The next chapter is going to be more Loba and Zatz focused, so hopefully I can develop more of her character easier without it needing to be in a fully canonical scene.
