Author's POV

"We're gonna die! Like seriously gonna die for real this time!"

"Scout..." Medic sighed in annoyance at the boy who had just woken up a few minutes ago he had explained the situation to him but expected this reaction. "No one is going to die. Ve are just stranded" Though he was aware of the possiblity of death. His Medigun had survived the crash but there was the problem with fuel and an injured Rainwing with their side.

"Yeah right!" Scout huffed. "I've seen it in horror movies man, a group of people get stuck on an island-" he glanced around nervously. "-and then they get eaten by monsters just like Night Flower who almost killed us all!"

The rainwing growled furiously at the boy bared fangs venom are ready she doesn't have the time to deal with him but she can at least kill him on the spot and shook off the memory that was on her head jeez scout why do you have to always remind that? She tucked her wing closer to herself then looked away in anger.

"I doubt there is anything supernatural on zhis island" Spy spoke up, he was sitting on a log.

"Though it does bring up zhe question" the fancy man straightened his suit.

"We don't know what exactly is on zhis
island" "I'd say something supernatural" Demoman spoke up, looking over.

"Seriously. How do ye explain the storm comin' outta thin air when the Sky was clear three bloody minutes before"

"I doubt it" Though he couldn't deny the feeling of this being somehow connected to something dangerous but he also refused to believe it was something supernatural, he looked over as
Sniper exited the woods, firewood in one arm and two dead rabbits in the other.

"I zhink... weren't they with you Herr Sniper?" Medic tilted his head to the side, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. Sniper shrugged his shoulders.

"Nah mate, Dunno where they went off to. Came back to find 'em not there so I took some wood and brought it back here" Sniper replied.

Medic thought for a moment.
"What if they were eaten?" Scout looked over. "Like by a bear or
something"

"I'm sure they're fine laddie" Demoman slapped Scout on the back, knocking the breath out of him. "They're mercenaries! They know how to take care of themselves" he grabbed a bottle of scrumpy he saved from the ship and began chugging it down.

Night Flower was sitting up listening to their own conversations the whole time she isn't sure about this island there is something that they don't know what lies to these caves..

"Y'know we're going to run out of zhose soon if you keep drinking
zhem." Spy said, Demoman laughed in reply and shook his head, Spy. rolled his eyes and looked off blinking for a moment he stood up and stared.

"It seems Engineer and Pyro are alright."
"What make ya say that?" Sniper looked up. Spy motioned to where he. was looking. Sniper looked and then realized what Spy meant. Engineer
and Pyro were making their way towards them, arm full of sticks and. small logs.

"Howdy fellas!" Engineer plopped the pile of sticks onto the sand, and so did Pyro, clapping his hands eagerly. "Sorry ya keep y'all waitin' we ran into some trouble in the woods"
"Monsters?"

"What kind of trouble?" Spy asked, ignoring Scouts comment. Engineer rubbed the back of his neck. "Well.." Engie began. "Its not exactly something I really want to explain. Might wanna come and see yerself" "We'll see it tomorrow." Heavy spoke for the first time that day. He had been fairly quiet most of the trip, besides occasionally talking to Medic. "It gets too dark" he motioned one large hand to the sky. "We sleep now.. Wait until it's day"

"That's actually not a bad idea" Engineer grinned. "I'll keep watch for anything that might try ta hurt us" He grabbed his shotgun. "I'll wake up Sniper for his turn to watch in two hours" Sniper gave a thumbs up. "Sounds good to me, let's cook these rabbits first though" he looked over at the two dead animals. "Don't need them
spoilin' over night"

Medic nodded. "Ok zhen, Night Flower you are useful for the fire" NightFlower gave him a nod and walked over to try and help out.
Surprisingly the only one who hadn't spoken when Engineer returned was Soldier, normally the guy would've jumped up at the idea of night patrol or just watching and keeping away danger, he wasn't even scolding anyone.

Engineer walked over to them while Sniper and Medic
set up a fire pit, making a medium sized circle with stones.
"You alright Solly?"

"I'm fine" The patriot replied, arms crossed, he stared at the ship in dismay. Engineer could tell something wasn't right but didn't want to push it too much.

"You sure?"

"Yes..."

The two stood there awkwardly, right up until Engineer was about to say another word there was cheering from the campsite. NightFlower had managed to make a fire, Engineer glanced at Soldier and then walked back over to the group. "Good job fellas!" Things weren't all that bad but of course no one noticed the pair of six eyes watching them from the shadows of the trees.
