Green a color Tubbo had not seen the grass be around L'manburg since it had all began. the grass in those lands used to be a bright luscious green, but as a result of what occured in the past it was more brown less alive.

The grass the ram hybrid stood on now was a different story. it was bright, it was healthy and the animals around him looked simply over joyed. he saw flowers of different colors that the lands of DSMP never offered him before.

"This place" the former president spoke, a smile on his scarred face. "is just so" he fell back with a laugh. landing in the soft grass not caring if his clothes got dirty this was just so beautiful. it was just perfect and so peaceful. "Lovely".

Ranboo smiled watching his platonic Fiancé, his mothers lands had always been his favorite place to play as much as he could actually remember. "I'm glad you like it" a voice startled the young ram hybrid.

Blonde hair was tied back into a braid as a seemingly young woman made her presence known. a crown made of flowers sat upon her head and her blue eyes twinkled. "Lethe I see you've finally decided to visit me again" she looked at Ranboo a frown appearing on her face.

Confusion appeared on the ram hybrids face as he sat up from the grass. "Lethe?" he asked looking between Ranboo and the woman.

"It's my first name" Ranboo mumbled, flustered, "Ranboo is my middle name" he looked at the woman, "Tubbo this is Clementine my mother" he gestured to the now frozen Tubbo, "Mother this is my platonic Fiancé Tubbo".

Clementine looked at her adoptive son, than to his chosen partner. she moved towards the young boy, kneeling down and cupping his face in her hands.

"Oh you poor child" she spoke, "what did those humans do to you?". the  goddess of the earth hated humans for a reason and seeing just what happened to this poor boy up close for once and not just picturing him in the letters her little Theseus sent her.

It made her blood boil. the former president was uncertain what to think, he was annoyed she was giving him pity for his scars but at the same time she was Ranboo's mother, and it occured to him that his soon to be platonic husbands mother was holding his face hostage.

"Can you let my face go?" he asked, it was starting to hurt his scars. she removed her hands and backed away from him. "wait if your his mother why do you look nothing alike?".

He didn't mean to be rude, he was just curious and the question slipped out before he could stop it. to be honest this woman looked so much like Tommy, and it hurt him. her bright blue eyes, the color his best friends used to be and her golden blonde locks.

It was a possibility, one that stung him deeply. the human appearing woman could of actaully been his best friends mother but if that was true why did Tommy never mention it? were him and Ranboo technically brothers?

"I-I was adopted actaully" Ranboo spoke, "I don't remember much of my actaul birth family but I was still just a baby when my moms found me". that made sense, if he was adopted but Tubbo stopped for a moment.

"Wait you have two moms?" he asked exited, eyes shining as he got up off the grass. "what is your other mom like?" he was curious as Clementine chuckled.

"Don't pressure him dear" she spoke, and the ram hybrid backed away from the taller. "now I understand your curious young one but you can ask Lethe or me about my ex wife another time" she turned around, "after all it's almost lunch time and I'm certain you boys are hungry".

Tubbo couldn't deny the factor that he was in fact starving. his stomach growled and to put it simply with their long travel he was also tired. before he could ask she was already walking away from them.

He glanced at the taller. "so I take it your mother likes me?" he asked "unless her offering me food is a plot to murder me". Ranboo shook his head.

"Bo please" he mumbled grabbing the ram hybrids hand and tugging him along towards the path his mother took. "do not make jokes about mother murdering you" he smirked "that's more of moms thing".

To say Tubbo was shocked was an understatement. the ram hybrid in that moment decided it would be best to be quiet and not speak his mind for a few hours. because he was honestly terrified of the mere thought of Ranboo's mom.

~ ~ ~ ~

Theseus was kind, a kid whom Sapnap had wished he had met sooner. working as a royal guard was something he found joy in, for here he was free to burn freely without anyone getting angered at him.

He returned to his newfound home that night, his two fiancés were lounging on the sofa in their living room. "Honeys I'm homes" he called swinging open the door.

Karl lit up at this, however he was unable to move from the duck hybrid holding him hostage on the sofa. the nether was never a place the three thought they'd be living in, but here they were together living in basically hell.

"How was work?" Karl asked as Sapnap shut the door and made his way to the sofa moving Quackity's legs so he could sit down.

"It was great" he spoke, a bright grin on his face. ignoring the small grunt of annoyance from the duck hybrid, "I never thought I would get the chance to do this kind of thing".

Quackity chuckled from where he laid draped across Karl's legs. "you told us that the moment you asked us to come live with you in the nether man" he smiled, "even though this heat is terrible condition for my feathers, I'll admit the nether is more peaceful than I thought it would be".

Karl ran his hand through the duck hybrids hair, smiling as well. "Yeah, and this is supposed to be the most dangerous place yet it's just so nice" he giggled. "though I'm curious what has happened in the two months of us living here over in the overworld".

Sapnap frowned at the mention at that. playing with his hands for a moment, "her highness got word Dream got thrown into prison" he spoke, "and apparently her other son Lethe got engaged to some boy from the overworld".

Quackity, and Karl froze. Dream was in prison? that was something neither of them thought would happen. but "Maybe it's for the best" the duck hybrid spoke. and Sapnap turned to look down at the duck hybrid.

"How so?" he asked, uncertain what to think. Dream was once his best friend, till he told the man he was leaving. it had been two months since than. and now he had to here from gossip he was in prison.

"That mask can hide many things" Karl spoke instead, "but Dream was breaking apart he had lost it" the normally cheerful and bubbly one sounded sad. "it was only a matter of time before he decided to change his ways of the path he put himself on".

Sapnap didn't want to agree but it made to much sense. he saw how distant Dream had become, the way he talked to himself since Tommy's death. he was detached and maybe being in prison was a good thing for him.

Deciding to end this topic here, he changed it "let's talk about the gossip I heard instead while on duty" he spoke. and the two agreed in the change of pace they didn't need their mood dampened more than it was.

The rest of the night was spent with chatter of mindless gossip and the occasional flirting. before the three passed out on the sofa in each others embraces. and that in itself was something none of them would change for the world.
