I ran out of the office towards my room. As I turned the corner, her scent was the strongest behind me. She was behind me. I knew it, but before I could turn, there was a sharp knife held at my neck.

"Kaua e neke"

(Don't Move)

"Nāu ahau i mau mai ināianei, māu ahau e tango" she fumed.

(You brought me here now, you will take me out)

"Ok relax, I surrender." I said, holding my hands in the air. Fully aware that she can't understand what I was speaking but could understand the gesture.

She nudged me to move forward.

"Tangohia ahau i konei"

(Take me out of here)

"Sweetheart, I don't know what you are saying. Like, are you taking me hostage to get away from here?" I started walking a bit with a frown. Is my mate threatening to kill me and run away from here...?

"Mauria ahau ki te ngahere, me hoki au ki te kāinga. Me māharahara taku whānau" there was worry in her voice. Why didn't I had hobby of learning new languages instead of gadgets.

(Take me to the forest, I need to go home. My family must be worried)

"Look take it easy, okay. Please, baby, I don't want to hurt you." How do I do this without letting her know about me. I mind linked Bro about our location and to come from behind and take hold of my mate. I mean knife.

'Just look at our mate. I love her, hah? She is dangerous. You are dead human.' Al snickered.

'Shut up' I scoffed at him internally.

I tried to turn and the edge of the knife sliced through my skin and blood started leaking down.

She gasped, looking at what she had done

"Tirohia tāu i mahi ai. I kī atu ahau kia kaua koe e neke. Aue! e te Atua, kai te toto koe. Pōrangi" she yelled with concern and what is pōrangi?? She... she cussed me? I was not worried about the injury, but if she noticed that I could heal real fast she would be suspicious.

(Look what you did. I told you not to move. Oh! god, you are bleeding. Idiot)

'Al, don't heal me...'

'As you wish. ' he cuts my words always

'Till ...she is around.' he is annoying.

Soon, bro came from behind her and snatched the knife from my mate's hand before she could even realize it. She stood there stunned, glaring at bro.

"Human, no one dares to harm my pack members and you...you harmed my brother...if you were not his mate..." Bro warned her in his alpha tone.

"Bro... She can't understand anything." I rolled my eyes.

"That's why I am saying, you, dumbo." He chuckled. Seriously?

"Ko wai a ia ināianei? Kai te tangata tonu a ia?" She said detested.

(Now who is he? Is he even human?)

"I pēhea tō mahi i tēnā? I hohoro tēnā" she said facing bro with folded arms.

(How did you do that? That was fast)

"I am sorry I am taken." Bro told her as if she proposed him and it made me roll my eyes again. Who made him alpha? Just then Jia came with Dani and Mini. If you still have not figured, Dani that is Daniel Richard Stanford and Mini that is Damien Richard Stanford are identical twin pups of Bro and Jia. Don't ask me about the nickname. It's Jia's doing. They are future Alphas of Southern moon pack and moon of our lives. They are tooooo adorable. They have brown hair just like Jia and green eyes just like their dad. Actually green eyes run in our family.

"Love, can you take her inside." Bro told Jia.

Jia placed her hand on Aroha's shoulder, but she jerked it off. That angered me and bro. No one insults our Luna, but Jia being Jia told us to relax through mindlink. Dani took hold of Aroha's hand, and she went with him, stomping her feet.

"Nāu i tūpāpaku taku mahere"She glared at bro and went away mumbling something.

(You ruined my plan).

"She seems to be upset with me. You better find some solution to this, and why aren't you healing?" Alpha walked away saying that.

"Al?"

"Okayyyy. Derek told me already." Derek is Bro's wolf. He is an Alpha wolf with special powers.

I huffed at my situation. My mate, love of my life, was holding a knife at my neck. What more could be disheartening? The one who should love me is not bothered to even hurt me. I need to find a way to communicate with her....how do I do it...damn...Damn...ya Damn. Why didn't I think of it earlier.
