?THE BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY?- A Different Point Of View

It has been 2 weeks after the departure of Karn and his Mahamantri. Kurus were invited for the coronation that was happening another week after. Though Duryodhan and Ashwattama missed Karn very badly, they didn't disturb their friend on the orders of their Mata. They felt very bored and often would unconsciously utter Karn's name without them realizing.

Their days went in Hastinapur very slowly not at all interesting. They would often go and visit Radhama and Adhirath as both the parents want to stay in Hastinapur. Though Duryodhan begged them to stay in Palace, they delicately refused the Prince's order saying they will be uncomfortable.

And atlast, it's the time for Gurudakshina of Pandavas and Kauravas. Duryodhan unexpectedly yawned when his Gurudev was telling his friendship with Drupad, and how he was betrayed which resulted him to get a fierce glare from him. Ashwattama was barely containing his laughter. Lord Shiva! This Duryodhan will surely going to get nice scolding from his father. Atlast, Dronacharya announced,"Thus, King Dhritarashtra, I want Panchal king's defeat as my Gurudakshina from my Kuru Princes!!"

Arjun stood up eagerly saying,"Anything for you, Gurudev! I myself is enough to finish off the Panchal King!" Anuvindha, the 37th Kaurava mocked,"Yeah yeah! He himself was enough. I think I can be charioteer for him as Gurudev taught me how to ride the chariot!!"

The other Kauravas bursted into laughter while Duryodhan controlling his smile muttered,"Anuvindha! That's unnecessary. He is elder than you. Don't mock him!!" Dhanurgraha, the 46th Kaurav said,"Well, you should give that advise to Panduputr Arjun first Bhrata, as He doesn't know how to respect Bhrata Karn nor you or Ashwathama!!"

And this time Nakul mocked,"You all forgot that he's Sutputr!! Why should my Bhrata should respect him? Bhrata Arjun is a Prince!!" Every Kaurava stood up in fury while Ashwattama said,"Prince Nakul! Yes, I accept your facts. Those are very good ones!!"

Duryodhan snapped his head towards his friend who continued, "But you should mind your words as the so called Sutputr according to you, is Lord Parashuram's shishya, and the same one defeated your so called elder brother in the middle of crowds of people, isn't it?? Moreover, he's now a king!! If you asked me who have more powers, King or Prince?? I think my father taught you already that King has more powers than a Prince??"

Nakul burned in humiliation along with Arjun. And to add the fuel, Kauravas's laughter rang in their ears. Yudhistir shook his head in disappointment while Shahadev didn't even hide his anger from his twin for using such words on future King. When will his brothers change?? Bheem was cracking his knuckles seeing Duryodhan but everyone stopped when they heard,"STOP EVERYONE! I ASKED FOR MY GURUDAKSHINA...NOT A FIGHT AMONG YOURSELVES!!"

Guru Dronacharya was angry and he glared at his son and Duryodhan together. Arjun said,"We will do it for you, Gurudev!!" The other Pandavas nodded. He looked at Kauravas, and Duryodhan looked at his Guru in confusion. Now what?? Ashwattama tredded on his friend's leg saying,"Mitr. Suyo will do that! Isn't it right, Mitr??"

Duryodhan groaned but said,"Ha,yes!! We, Kauravas will help...ouch no no we Kauravas will surely defeat Panchal King. Yaah, take your leg away Ashwattama!!" Ashwattama took his feet away smiling innocently at the eldest Kaurav. Dronacharya sighed saying,"Ok...then be ready tomorrow!" And Kauravas released their breath trying to get out of the courtroom. Their Gurudev and Pandavas will suffocate them too much.

At night, Duryodhan waited outside elder Pandavas chamber. Yudhistir who went away to get some scrolls saw Duryodhan waiting outside. He hurriedly came and asked,"Duryodhan! Why are you here? Do you need anything??" Duryodhan nodded his head saying,"Yes..actually..." Yudhister on the other hand pulled Duryodhan inside his chamber saying,"Sit down and say! How can I help you??"
