Chapter one...

Loki woke up to a sound of thunder, he heard rain falling on the wooden roof and against the windows. Looking around the room he woke up in he saw it was past night... but early, early in the morning.

The last couple of days were chaotic and tiring. He felt drained as he thought of how Odin betrayed him and Thor as well. Seeing Thor defend him against his father did something to him. Thor explained everything and luckily the council stepped in and made sure Loki was not blamed for the troubles and even gave all of his magic back. Getting out of bed he looked outside, seeing the damage of the fight with the minglings as he saw the beginning of a sunrise in the distance. He got distracted by a moaning and scratching sound at his door, Enat was trying to get his attention and a few seconds later he understood why, Thyria was making fussy sounds.

Well hello there my little heart...he softly said as he lifted her out of her crib while her mother slept. Ada looked so peaceful. He looked at his daughter and held her to his chest kissing her head. Let's get you some food as he silently walked out of the room. Sitting down on the couch he used his magic for the fireplace and bottle as he settled down with Thyria. The house was still quiet, Enat watched Loki as he laid down on the couch on his side with Thyria between him and the couch creating a barriere. All topped off with a blanket. He softly sang an Asgardian nursery song as Thyria grabbed his finger and slowly fell back asleep, taking her father with her.

Ada, eyes opened because of the sunlight on her face she immediately looked over to Thyria's crib and saw she was gone along with her pacifier. Wearing nothing but an old hemley off Loki she looked for the two of them. After a while she found Enat sleeping by the fire.

Then she saw them, Thyria was laying on her side against Loki under his arm curled up holding his finger. And Loki was in a deep sleep. Her heart melted at this sweet sight. She quickly grabbed her phone and took a close up picture of Thyria holding his finger and of the both of them sleeping. Ada walked over and sat down on the edge of the sofa behind Loki's back.

Loki?...Loki??? She gently shook Loki? He opened his eyes and turned back, seeing Ada sitting against him. Without thinking he twisted and leaned back to let his arm rest on Ada's lap. Ada? What is it, is something wrong? He watched her smile.. no but she needs to be in her bed. As he looked at his baby. Oh yeah right

Why don't you put her in her bed and I'll make some breakfast... Yes, right as he got up and headed for the baby's room. Enat felt asleep again at the crib. Making Loki kneel down and pad him. Protect her always even from familiar faces, Enat just nodded his head and watched Loki leave the room.

Ada was just finishing cutting the fruit as Loki entered the kitchen. There was an awkward silence. This was the first time they were alone since their fight and fight here. Loki and Siff were summoned back and her Dad was back at the compound with the rest.

She watched him lean against the doorframe in the corner of her eyes just watching her...

He watched Ada prepare his food in an old henley of his. Bare faced, hair wavy, bare legs looking more beautiful as ever.

Can I help with something? Ada heard him. No, I'm about to be done as she folded some cheese in the eggs. She tried to act normal but this was hard for her. Everything she ever wanted and ever dreamed of hurted her to her soul and he was standing within reach. They haven't spoken about anything that happened. She knew he wanted to be here with his daughter and away from Asgard so she let him stay. But it wasn't easy.
