Royalties and Bombs (Jinx x Lux)

WARNING!! Kind of suicide attempt

Lux didn't know what to think. She had just fallen on top of a madwoman and is still alive.

She figured Jinx must have had a soft spot for her since she was willing to keep her in her home, take her to blow stuff up, hold onto her in the middle of the night, you know, good friend things.

She got up quick when Jinx threw something at her.

"Hold this for a sec"

Apparently a second was a bit longer because around 2 hours later Jinx asked for it back.

It wasn't an impressive looking thing, just a blue orb but Jinx handled it like it was a live explosive, which considering the girl she's thinking about, could be entirely possible.

Jinx took the object and put it into a more confusing contraption. She seemed to be trying to explain what it did, but with Jinx talking as fast as she did and when she was talking about tech, Lux was lost.

All the sudden Jinx hit a switch and the whole thing started spinning. It looked like it was going to do something cool but it stopped.

And before Lux or Jinx could love a muscle, it exploded.

They both seemed unharmed, but when Lux opened her eyes she saw Jinx looking frantic and terrified. Jinx's gaze was aimed at a stuffed bunny and flare that had fallen in the explosion.

Lux looked for any sign on crying or a breakdown but she didn't see any. She saw a look of familiarity, and judging by the mental state of the girl in front of her, she guessed it wasn't a good memory.

"NO, no no no it was a mistake"

Lux heard Jinx speak first.

Then she heard metal clanging all around her.

She saw Jinx collapse almost falling off the edge into the seemingly abyss.

And she saw a stream of tears go from her eyes.

She saw Jinx slowly get up.

And she saw a single step off the edge of the floor.

And all the sudden, Jinx was hanging by Lux's hand.

"Let me go"

Yeah Lux definitely wasn't going to do that. So she pulled Jinx up. She looked for anyone she could get to for some help because Jinx clearly was not alright. And the only person there was the man Jinx had called Silco fondly. So she walked in with an unconscious Jinx in her arms and gave her to him.

He asked what happened so she explained and with a worried look on his face, Silco put her in a hammock above his desk.

Hey! I'm back! I am pretty sick at the moment but I had extra time to write this and wanted to finally write something that really showed Jinx's feelings.
