I wipe the sweat off the top of my lip and then continue punching the punching bag. It's been three weeks doing training to join the mafia. We mainly focused on fighting and guns because that is what most people had trouble with.

Apparently they had a torture section of the course where they would stick you in the room in the basement and pretend that you got captured. I heard they would connect you to electricity and punch you to see how much you can take.

Clay made sure I wasn't tortured even though it was required. But we both figured I already had to do it when Schlatt took me so they only did the mental examination, which I passed.

To end off the training we have to do a mock mission, apparently they set up an abandoned warehouse not too far from here and our goal is to get the armory and drugs out and back to headquarters.

The recruits had full control over planning with no help from Techno or Punz, who became a capo when Puffy died. I wish she was here. She would be over the moon about me joining the mafia, then say something about doing missions together.

God, I miss her. Besides training over the last few weeks I have been out more. Clay and I went on a date to the carnival in a town about an hour or so away. He would hold all the prizes I won, so just imagine a scary mafia man carrying around a huge stuffed panda and a jar of cotton candy.

Last time I went to the carnival was when I was little. My dad took me and I would have to drag him on the rides because he was not a fan of anything that spins, goes fast, or turns upside down. But he went on anyway because I never wanted to go alone.

Clay had fun, it was definitely needed. I don't think I heard him laugh that much in a long time. After the carnival he brought me to the beach and we watched the moon reflect off the ocean's calm surface. We mostly just talked about what we see in the future.

After that we sat next to each other on the sand listening to the arriving and receding waves. Everyone at the house is mostly back to normal or as normal as it gets. Of course we can all tell something is missing, but we try and not bring down the mood. Tommy is back to his obnoxious yelling self and I can tell Tubbo is happy his friend isn't pushing people out anymore.

"Get into groups and go over the plans we are leaving on foot in 20 minutes." Punz voice booms across the large training room. I wipe the sweat off my forehead and walk to the group of the 25 new recruits. They are all gathering around a table. The table has a blueprint of the warehouse where we are going to be doing the mock mission.

"10 people will go in the front and 10 people will go through the back doors. You already know you're squadding if you don't let me know." A brown-haired guy says. He looks like he's around 23. I can tell he'll be a good leader and can see him growing into being a Capo. I think his name is Michael.

"The people with the truck will pull by the front doors so we can quickly get out of there." He says, I furrow my brows.

"Why the front door? That's right by the road making the chances of us being caught go up, we need the truck at the back door." I say my thoughts out loud. Michael looks at me then nods.

"She's right, the truck will go to the back door... stay in your groups and be aware, we don't know what they have planned but I know it won't be as easy as walking in there and grabbing what we need." He explains, we all nod in understanding.
