Chapter Sixty-Eight

"Get geared up and let's go." Punz yells and everyone disperses, some go to the guns first, some go to the knives first. I grab a Glock 17 and tuck it in the waistband of my pants. 

I also take a few knives and put them in my pockets. I'm wearing black cargo pants and a tight black long sleeve shirt. I was wearing black combat boots and my hair up in a low bun. 

"Let's go." I hear Punz yell and we start making our way towards the warehouse. We walked for 15 minutes and we arrived at the abandoned warehouse. The windows were smashed and moss was growing up the side of the crack bricks.

 I was in the squad with the front door. We picked the lock and got in the door opening to a huge room with nothing in it. I immediately get behind a support pole and take out my gun and the others follow.

 Not knowing what to expect I peek around the pole and take a look at the empty grey room. I see cameras all around probably so the Capo's can see what we're doing and evaluate us. My eyes glance over to the door where we need to go but there is a device on top of the door frame. 

"There's something on the door frame." I tell Michael we both cautiously walk towards it. I take a good look at it and see its a bomb that hasn't been activated yet, but as soon as the door open it will be.

 "Harry, your good with tech right?" I ask the blond hair kid who is in my squad. He nods and I signal to the bomb. His face lights up and starts twisting and turning the small device till we hear a beep. 

We all freeze in our spot I swear if this kid kills me because he can't defuse a bomb, I will haunt him for the rest of my life. He opens the door and the bomb didn't do anything. I sigh in relief and we head into a dimly lit hallway. 

The armory and drugs are in a room off this hallway. It should be the fifth door on the left. We stealthy walk down the hallway taking in our surroundings. I scan the ground and see there is a patch that is lighter than the normal dirty gray. Michael was about to step on it but I swing my hand out and push him back. He grunted.

"What the hell!" He exclaims. All I do is point to the discolored floor, his eyes furrow and I crouch down and examine the floor. 

"Just step over it" I tell everyone and step over it waiting for the others. Everyone stepped over it except for this girl. She goes to step over it but falls short. The floor falls out from below her and she falls into the dark abyss. All you can hear is her faint screaming then it stops. I look at Michael and he looks at me with a surprised look. 

"Lets keep going." He says, I nod not wanting to think about where the girl is now. We go down the hallway towards the 5th door and we open it. The back door squad is already moving the drugs and armory into the truck. 

I tuck my gun in my waistband and start helping handing people crates so they can bring it to the truck. After we got all the crates in the truck. They drove back to the Headquarters while everyone got out of the musty abandoned warehouse. 

My arms ache from picking up crates. When we walk out the back door, Punz and Techno are waiting with straight faces, arms crossed over their chest. If I didn't know them I would probably shit my pants at how intimidating they look. 

"Congratulations. everyone standing in front of me passed." Techno voice says to the group in front of him.

 "Initiation ceremony is tomorrow at the warehouse. You are all dismissed." Punz announces. Everyone breaks out into cheer and chatter. I turned to Michael who was standing next to me. 

"Where are you headed to?" I question. His brown eyes turn towards me "Back to the warehouse." He replies, I start walking towards the warehouse and Michael catches up so he walks next to me. 

"Thanks for stopping me or else I would have ended up like that girl." He says, his hand on the nape of his neck. 

"Yeah, no problem. It was her fault she fell. I literally told her to step over it and she can't even fucking do that." I laugh, we walk back to the warehouse in peaceful silence. The door was shut and there was no one around to unlock it. 

"Shit" I say tugging on the door. I take my phone out from one of my pants pockets and call Clay. Bringing the phone up to my ear hearing the dialing tone till Clay's voice interrupts it. 

"Y/n! Are you okay?" He rushes out. I chuckle, he's always worrying. 

"Yes I just need to be let in." I say. 

"Oh. Okay I'll be down in a minute." He says, and hangs up. I put my phone back in my pocket. 

"Who was that?" Michael questions. I glance over at him and see he's looking at me with a curious face.

 "Dream." I say, his eyes go wide.

 "Like boss Dream?!" He exclaims. I slowly nod my head, the door opens and there Clay stands. He's wearing black slacks and a dark green dress shirt. He glares at Michael. I walk up to Clay and go on my tiptoes kissing his cheek. His arm wraps around my waist pulling me closer to him. I pat his chest while his eyes are still staring daggers at Michael.

 "Calm down, you look like you're going to tear him to shreds." I say quietly so only Clay can hear me. He scoffs and his green eyes meet mine. He then turns us around and walks into the building leaving Michael where he stood. I turn my head and give him a sympathetic smile. 

"How'd the mock mission go?" Clay ask while we're walking.

 "Good, someone from my group fell through the floor even though I told her not to step there." I say rolling my eyes. 

"I know, you look hot being in charge and stuff." Clay says with a smirk. We arrive at Clay's office and he opens the door. I walk in plopping down on his couch that is in there. While he goes and sits behind the desk. 

"I get initiated tomorrow." I say with a smile on my face. I was looking at the ceiling so I couldn't see Clay's reaction.

 "I'm proud of you, y/n." Clay says with full seriousness. My smile turns into a huge grin. 

"I have work that I need to do. Do you want to go back home or do you wanna stay here?" He asks, I close my eyes, my adrenaline wearing off from the mock mission. 

 "I'll stay here."

A/N: Another longer chapter for y'all. I been super excited for my new book, setting it up and all that. I can't wait for y'all to see what i've been working on.
