Lilith's POV:
Sometimes when a person zones out, you wonder what goes on in their head. Lilith couldn't help but feel this was the case as she sat across from Tommy in the car. It was silent. The only sounds were the engine's hum and the softness of the radio at the front where Tommy's dad sat. You couldn't help but feel a sense of calm here. There were few places in life where, if given the opportunity to stay forever, Lilith would. This was one of them. If she were to stay here permanently, it would give her more time to figure out what Tommy was thinking about. She could ask him, but that would just ruin the fun.
Tommy was staring out the window. His blond hair was messy, his eyes straight on the road outside. If Lilith listened close enough, she could hear Khai Dreams playing through his headphones. Lilith eventually figured that whatever he was thinking about was important and she should leave him to himself before he realized she was staring at him.
Putting on her own headphones, Lilith shut out the world for a few minutes and peacefully drifted off to sleep. This, the girl would soon realize, was a big mistake. Lilith woke up to the sounds of laughter. Specific laughter, one she knew so well. Opening her eyes, she could now see that Tommy held his phone right in front of his face.
"Hello TikTok, I am sitting in the car with LilacDemon. I know what she looks like, and you do not. Say hi, Lilac!"
"I was sleeping, Tommy."
He just laughed. Lilith knew this was all an act, and so did his dad, who was shaking his head with a smile from the front seat. Unlike how he behaved on camera, Tommy was a caring person in real life. Awkward at times, but caring nonetheless. He was genuinely the kindest and trustworthy person Lilith had ever met. When Tom Simons became TommyInnit, the girl knew that he was putting on a mask.
"Tom, when we get there, I'm going to need you to help unload the bags. I know you're excited to see everyone, but please don't run off without your stuff."
Tommy simply nodded. Even though his dad hasrequested his help, every person in the car knew the second they arrived at the house they were staying at, Tommy would immediately runoff. Lilith would be the one unloading the bags from the trunk.

As they pulled into the driveway of the Air BnB, Lilith could see WilburSoot practically run out the front door. As much as he would never admit it on camera, Lilith could see the boy's excitement from a mile away. Wil was followed closely behind by Tubbo, Phil, Niki, and Ranboo, who had arrived at the house earlier in the morning.
Tommy jumped out of the car before they were even entirely stopped, earning a yell from his father, who thought he had turned on the child lock.
"TOBY!!!"
"TOM!!"
Tubbo ran straight at the boy, practically knocking him off his feet as he greeted the boy with a hug.
Lilith watched from afar as she helped unload the car, silently laughing to herself. Tommy's father was right, even if he reminded him there was no way Tommy would ever help unload the luggage.
"Need some help with that?"

A/N: Y'all, I am out of the writing slump and am currently prewriting these chapters like it's nobody's business. I'm so excited I finally got to the meetup in this book! (Btw thinking of doing a one-shot book or something when I finish this one, so lmk what you think about that) ALSO, can I just say I think this is the first chapter I'm actually really proud of since chapter 5? I'm very excited to say the writing should be at least slightly better from here on out. ANYWAYS, drink your water, wear your mask, do your homework, and I hope you have a great day :)
