Ever since you started dating Emerald your life was better he would always care about your feelings and everything he loved you.
You walk into his cave like normal but this time you got scared because Emerald used his power to lift you up but you giggled.
"Hey Em"
"Hey darling"
"Em? Are you ever going to get out of this cave?"
"Maybe I really don't know but I really want to go outside darling.. "
You looked at him and kissed his nose.
"Don't worry Em you'll be out of here soon enough okay?"
He nods and wraps his arms around you he always had this warmth that you couldn't explain then he went all serious.
"Are you okay Em? "
He just smiled and picked a flower growing from a meadow in his cave and he then he put it in your hair. You smile
"Thank you Em"
"No problem"
He kissed you on the forehead you were shocked because he had never done before you're the one to usually do that! You just hugged him and he laughed and then you heard something it was your father!
"Y/N WHY ARE YOU HERE WITH THIS DANGEROUS BOY?!"
"Dad! He isn't dangerous people might think he is but he isn't!"
"Guards take the boy."
"Don't touch him!" You leaped in front of Emerald not letting a soul touch him and then you saw your friend come out
Your friend:   "Y/N Emerald is a monster what's the point of protecting a monster who destroyed a whole village?!"  
  "He didn't mean too! He thinks about it everyday and he regrets it! He has a whole life and you want to take him away YOU WANT TO TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME"
Father:"Y/N what do you mean by that?!"
"Emerald is my beloved! He does everything in his might to keep me safe! He has a heart!"
But your dad didn't listen one of the guards ran past you and took Emerald outside while you and your dad were shouting at each other but Emerald was sadly dragged too a dungeon he was scared very very scared... But you're a hero
