"Where are we going, (Y/n)?" Gregory asks as I scan my badge to gain entrance to the main room.

"We are heading for the daycare. I'm going to search the security desk for any badges that might grant us access to more of the facility. If I can't find one, we may just stay there until 6. It's the safest option." I swiftly answered, guiding him through the main room.

"Great Idea (Y/n)! I'll meet you and Gregory at the daycare entrance," Freddy calls through our watches.

I shimmy past the s.t.a.f.f. bot that is mopping the floor in front of the fountain. I bolt up the stairs and hide in the photo booth as Chica passes us, calling out for Gregory. I peek out to see her walking down the stairs. We make a dash straight for the daycare doors.

I make sure to close the doors quietly. I don't want to draw Chica's attention.

"(Y/n)?"

"Hmm?" I look around at all the Sundrop and Moondrop posters that line the walls of the daycare pickup area.

"Who's Mike?" Gregory looks over his shoulder at me as he walks a few paces ahead.

"He's a security guard here too. His job is a little different, though. He watches the cameras and alerts Vanessa to any strange activity. He only steps in if needed." I answer Gregory. As I answer, I try to navigate the daycare, but it's a lot harder than one would think.

"Is he helping us?" He presses on.

"I-... If I'm honest, I'm not really sure. I'd like to think he is." I offer Gregory a warm smile. "Let's not worry about who's on our side now. I think the one you are about to meet will adore you."

I poke my head in random doors, trying to find a staircase or something that leads to the daycare. After about the third or fourth door, we finally stumble across the gate. Though I wish I had noticed the big gate from the start, it kind of blends in with all the wall art.

I walk towards it. swiping my badge to raise the gate, and then swiping it again to lower it back down. Just in case someone happens to find out about our wear-a-bouts.

'Please god! I'm putting my faith in Mike. I'm hoping he won't tell Vanessa we are here!'

Freddy's voice startles Gregory and me as it spills from the watch.

"I cannot access the daycare. I need you two to search the security desk for a badge, and let me in that way."

Gregory's presence is obviously driving Vanessa insane, causing her to tighten security protocols to the point where even Freddy can't get into certain places. It really bothers me and increases my suspicion even more. There's always been something off about this place, though.

"Imagine feeling so threatened by a child; you tighten up security protocols so that anyone who poses a threat can't get involved." I voice my train of thought.

'Pathetic.'

I lead Gregory towards the slide. I gesture for him to go down and tell him I'll be right behind him. True to my word, I slide down when I hear him land in the ball pit.

"Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!" I hear Sundrop's excited laughter as he dives into the ball pit, just as I slide in.

"(Y/n)! There's an animatronic. He's in the ballpit! What do we do?" Gregory frantically speaks as he crawls towards me.
