Chapter 28

I was panting heavily when his lips went down to my neck. I was silently praying that I should have the courage to stop him.

His hand were slowling brushing my legs. I wanted to removed it but my body is betraying the hell out of me... to think na nandito pa kami sa sofa nila sa baba. What if dumating si Judge Vergara?!

I squeezed his muscular arm when he bit my neck a bit. Fuck, what the hell is happening to me? Why can't I just push him?!

Kaagad napalayo si Gio sa akin, as if he's controlling himself from doing more.

"I-I'm sorry..." sabi niya.

Napahinga ako nang maluwag. Good thing he was able to control himself. "I love you." I said and planted a soft kiss on his lips.

"I'll wait," he said then caressed my cheeks. "I promise."

"I'm so happy for them," I smiled and leaned myself to Gio's chest while watching Elly and Luke. Nandito kami sa isang function hall dahil ininvite kami ni Luke. He said that he'll propose to Elly and he wants us to be there.

Nakaupo kaming lahat sa sa isang table dito. Me, Gio, Lian, Addie, Gab, Calynn and Steve.

"Me, too," Gio kissed the side of my head. "I witnessed how Elly suffered. Iyon 'yung mga panahong malabo pa kung ano ang mayroon sa atin." He chuckled.

I chuckled, too. "Ikaw, eh. Ang labo mo."

Lumapit sa amin si Elly kaya bumitiw na ako kay Gio at tumayo. "Congrats!" bati ko kaagad tapos yumakap kaming apat sa kaniya.

"Hey," tawag ni Calynn kay Margaux na nasa kabilang table mag-isa, siya raw 'yung bagong friend ni Elly. "Come here. Don't be shy."

Margaux smiled and walked towards us tapos nakiyakap na rin siya.

"Best friend ko." Elly held Margaux's hand. "May best friend na ako bukod kay Luke, 'no?" she said proudly.

"Girl. Ang mamahalin mo naman." Lian scanned her from head to foot. Ang ganda niya. Ang tangkad. Mga nasa 5'4 siguro tapos si Elly, 5'0 flat lang kaya ang tangkad niya tignan sa tabi ni Elly. Maputi rin siya gaya ko pero mas maputi pa rin ako. 'Yung mga alahas niya, puro chanel.

Margaux awkwardly laughed. "You, really."

Addie covered her mouth. "You, really," she mocked before looking at Calynn. "Calynn, kakambal mo yata."

Sinamaan siya ng tingin ni Calynn. "Whatever, Addie." She offered her hand to Margaux. "Hello. I'm Bella Calynn Dela Rosa pala."

Margaux shook her hand. "Margaux Trevelyan Ruiz." she smiled.

"Ano work mo?" I asked.

"I'm an engineer."

Addie formed an 'o' on my mouth. Elly smiled, looking proud at her best friend. Well, I am really happy for her. Alam ko naman na iba pa rin kapag may best friend because Addie makes my life thousand times better.

I smiled at Gio and handed him his BAR kit. Nakatayo na kami sa labas ng UST dahil first sunday na ng Novemeber at BAR exam na niya. Sabi niya ay ihatid ko raw siya, pangpatanggal kaba.

He hugged me so tight as if the result of his exam depends on it. "I'm nervous."

I caressed his back. "I know you'll do good. I'm sure of that." Bumitiw ako sa yakap niya at dinampian ng halik ang labi niya. "Good luck, baby. Make me proud." I winked at him.
