She looks just like a dream

About 20 minutes later I arrived at my parents house, I greeted my mom and Chris who was getting ready to go out with his girlfriend, my dad was on a business trip and Will was in his room so I went up to see him.

"Hey sis, what are you doing here?" said Will looking up at me from his bed. "I know what you told Lizzie" I said to him closing the door to his room. "I don't know what you're talking about," said Will with a frown. "Don't lie to me William, I know what you told her, and I believe Lizzie over you." I continued as I approached him. "Ah, you're talking about the truth?" replied Will sitting on the edge of his bed next to me. "That's not the truth William, you don't know how I feel about Lizzie let alone know what happened with Victoria, so stop meddling in my life" I told him with an annoyed tone. "Lizzie is not for you Y/N, she left her fiancé for a woman she barely knows and she hasn't even come out, you think it's going to be easy for you? for her? You think Elizabeth is going to let her career be ruined for you? a random woman she saw and believed to be her soulmate, please" continued Will "That's what you do when someone new comes into your life, you know?, you get excited and drop everything for the other person but it doesn't always work out, there's Kate, you said it, she wasn't who you wanted but she managed to have you and look at you now, ending your relationship with her, what makes you think that with Lizzie it's going to be any different?" he continued with a disapproving look on his face.

"Who are you to judge me, Will? you don't even know what happens in my life, in my relationships" I said agitated "you always do this, you've always been jealous of me and I don't even know why, you always try to let me down with the people I go out with, what kind of brother does that? you always look for something to go wrong, oh and by the way, Lizzie is different, and she left Robbie because he was CHEATING on her and because he was only using her for her money, she didn't leave him to be with me and he was NOT her fiancé yet" I replied with tears in my eyes and my breath hitching. "Well if he was cheating why is she with him?" said Will standing up to get his cell phone. "What are you talking about?" I said in disbelief. "If he was cheating and was just using her for her money, why are they together?" continued Will showing me a picture on his phone.

At that moment I felt everything in me fade away, I felt my heart stop beating for a second and then it broke. I felt that everything I said to will just now was, in a way, a lie.

I thought Lizzie was going to lunch with her sisters because it was her last day here in NY and it turns out it was a lie? Why didn't she tell me? I wouldn't get mad if she told me the truth.

"Where did you get that picture?" I asked him without taking my eyes off the screen of his phone as my vision blurred from the tears creating in my eyes. "The internet is constantly updating Y/N"  Will replied taking his cell phone from my hands "You know I only want the best for you, you're my little sister, it's my duty to protect you. It's not the first time I've seen a picture of them together while she was here in NY, hanging out with you telling you a bunch of bullshit about love" he continued telling me sitting next to me and putting his hand on my shoulder "I was just waiting for the moment when she would leave to LA so it wouldn't hurt you so much" William concluded lightly squeezing my shoulder and giving me a half smile.
