I look up to see Tammy giggling and holding something in xeir hands, a fluffy object, it was a bird of some sort.

"Hiii Annddyyy" My cousin, Evan, laughs at me after I got up. "Shut up, Evan." I groan, "Anyway, you and Tammy should leave I'm gonna get changed." They did as I asked and left my room.

After I got changed, I went out of the room and gave Evan a big hug, I haven't seen him since he was 14. "Sorry for dragging you our of your bed." He chuckles. "It's fine" I smile and let go of the hug, "Where's Whitney?".

"Whitney?"

"Yes, Whitney, your sister.. where is she?"

"Do you mean my sibling and where are they?"

"Yeah, sorry."

"I'll forgive you this time... but do it three more times and I will fucking kick you."

"Okay.."

"Do you understand?"

"... Yes.."

"Good!" Evan smiles.

It was a sweet smile, a nice and kind one, so I smile back. Then mother calls Tammy, supposedly to tell her something. Xey come back.. "Ant, mom wants you" Xey frown as xey speak.

I go into the kitchen, where my mother is, Grandma Jennifer, Aunt Angie, Auntie Hannah, and a feminine person.

Auntie Hannah sees me first, "Hello, Anthony!" She laughs and hugs me, "I haven't seen you in what feels like forever!". I hug her back, then after a few seconds, we let go of the hug. "Auntie, who's that?" I say, and point at the feminine person that she was with. "Hannah, don't." My grandma hisses, my auntie doesn't listen.

"Her? They're my girlfriend! Their name is April!" Auntie Hannah smiles proudly while hugging his lover. Gran Jennifer rolls her eyes, and scoffs. Hannah and April ignore this and continue hugging.

Mother turns to look at me then sighs, "You have to go see your father in three days..". I start to get upset, "What!? Why!? It's almost my 11th birthday!!".

"I know, but he demanded that I let you and Tammy go to his house for your birthday otherwise he'd do it himself.. forcefully.."

"Okay.." I sigh and force the fakest smile I could do, and went back to where Tammy and Evan were.

"Did she tell you too?" Tammy tries xeir best to hide xeir emotions, I can see the fear and sadness in xeir eyes, I'm so sorry for letting him hurt you, I was being selfish.

"Yeah.." I reply.

Evan then tries to lighted the mood, "So, do either of you like Mother Mother?"
Tammy's face lights up "Yeah! I do, I'm just not allowed to listen to it because it's 'not appropriate for girls my age', according to Daniel. But mom lets me listen to them". Evan smiles, "Your dad's a dick. Anyway, I have some of their music on CD, if you want, you could have them." Tammy giggles "Can I have them?" "Of course!", Evan laughs.
