? Felinette ?

• Marinette's Point of View •

I shouldn't be this nervous...should I? I mean, they're just college students like me. All I need to do is just be myself. Who knows, maybe we'll all become friends. I take a deep breath before anything else. Slowly, I raise my hand to the door.

Before I can knock, the door opens and my hand bumps into a young man's face. Oh my goodness! Did...Did that just happen?

"Excuse me, can you get your filthy hand off me?" I quickly slip my hand away.

"I am so so sorry! I...I didn't mean to! I was just about to knock on the door and you happened to open-"

"Hm? Who's that Felix?" A lady walked up behind him. She had beautiful blonde hair just like Chloe's; Only, her hair was in a long braid.

"How do you expect me to know? All I did was open the door. I didn't know there was someone on the other side." The man had a look of frustration on his face.

"Felix, was it? My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I once again deeply apologize for the little incident!" What a great impression I was making.

I could tell by his gestures that he was not amused. Looking down at my feet, the girl stepped in front of Felix.

"Don't mind him. My name is Allegra. It's a pleasure to meet you Marinette!" She holds her hand out.

I lift my head up and glance back down at her hand. My hand gravitates towards hers and we shake. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well Allegra."

"So what are you visiting us for? Are you perhaps one of Claude's or Allen's friends?" Allegra asked.

"Oh, well I'm here because-"

"Hmm, now that I think about it...I've never heard of your name before. So you can't be one of their friends." Allegra seemed to be deep in her thoughts.

"I believe Miss. Dupain-Cheng was just about to tell you until you interrupted her." Felix crosses his arms and looks towards Allegra.

"Oh my, how rude of me. I'm so sorry Marinette! Sometimes I get lost in thought."

I smile at the two of them. "No need to worry! I completely understand. As I was saying before, I've actually been assigned to this dorm." Allegra's face beamed with joy. Felix simply rolled his eyes. He must be annoyed that I'll be staying.

"That's right! We were told earlier this week that we'd be getting a new dorm mate."

"How wonderful." Felix sarcastically whispered.

Allegra elbowed him. "Don't be so cold Felix." She turned to Marinette. "Like I said earlier, don't mind him Marinette. He's always like this with people."

I nod my head lightly as I listen to her speak. At least she seems nice. Maybe we'll become good friends. I wonder if Felix would be willing to be friends as well. Although, after my impression, I'm sure he thinks I'm an idiot.
