??Desperate For Your Love?? || todoiida

3rd Person POV

It was the start of a new day and both Iida and Todoroki were excited for the day. They were excited to see each other! Iida quickly got dressed in his uniform and headed out the door fairly quickly, and Todoroki took more time since he wasn't a morning person. Once they both arrived at school they head to their first class and began to talk to each other about whatever came to mind.
"What's your favorite color?" Todoroki asked Iida.
"Purple." He replied, "Why'd you ask?"
"Oh,,, no reason," Todoroki sputtered drowning in nervousness. Iida cocked an eyebrow at him with confusion but soon brushed it off when class started.

Todoroki's POV

'Thank god he didn't pry any further. I'm planning on getting him a necklace or something that has his favorite color in it. I think it would be a nice gesture. And also I want to wear something I gave him- but that's beside the point. Maybe I should tell him how I feel when I give him the gift? That might work. Yeah! I think I'll do that.'

I eventually stopped overthinking this situation and started on my school work. 'I hope this works..'

3rd Person POV

     Todoroki started on his schoolwork, barely being able to focus on the printed words in front of him. He stared at them with no concentration and just dragged his eyes along them.
     'Zero,,, no- uh..' he muttered under his breath, he couldn't get Iida out of his head. He was just too distracting. But not in a bad way! He was just so drop-dead gorgeous that Todoroki couldn't focus. Todoroki just kind of,, sat there. Thinking about Iida, not in a creepy way, but in a sense, it was kind of creepy. Imagine being so caught up in a person that you can't focus at all. That's how Todoroki felt. He felt like his brain was mush. Maybe it was. You'll never know.

     Iida on the other hand wasn't having any issues reading his paper. He went through it quite fast. Sure, he would think about other things for a second, but he would quickly get back on track. By the end of the period, Iida had completed his assignment with ease, but Todoroki barely got halfway through. They both turned in their assignments and headed for their next period.

     After school, Todoroki decided to go to Iida's house, and Iida did not object. When they got there they went to Iida's room and watched some movies together until Todoroki had to return home. Todoroki loved Iida's house. It was so nice and he felt safe in it. He was always sad when he had to go home, but he knew he would always go back anyways, Iida was always sad when Todoroki had to return home as well. 

     Once Todoroki left, he went to the jewelry store and was going to get Iida a necklace. Not for any specific reason, just to get him one because Todoroki loved him. He was kind of nervous to do this because he kept contemplating whether he should do this or not. 'What if he doesn't feel the same. What if he rejects you.' this only made Todoroki more nervous. He arrived at the store and went inside to buy an Amethyst necklace with tiny little diamonds on it. He paid for it using his dad's credit card. (which he stole since his dad's a bitch ☹️) the 'what ifs' we're brushed off and he walked out of the store. He was excited to give Iida this gift.

     That night, Todoroki couldn't sleep at all. He was so anxious about giving Iida the necklace. And he was going to confess too?!?? 'GAH WHY IS THIS SO HARD'  Todoroki thought. He couldn't grasp his feelings long enough to feel one emotion at a time. He was so overwhelmed with anxiety and excitement. It was almost too much for him. Tomorrow is a new day, and it was going to be a great one.
