Chapter 3
Yoo Junghyuk

It's been three days since he had set off for Chungmuro and met with Lee Jihye. He has been working on gaining the other's trust, which has been successful so far. The two had already arrived at their destination but Kim Jihun still failed to see any signs of his brother.

'Did something happen to him?'

The thought would sometimes appear in his mind but he would always force himself to shove it away, unwilling to think about it.

He wanted to go find him, but for some reason even he didn't know of, there was a small voice in his heart telling him to stay, that they would be able to reunite eventually as long as he does so. Kim Jihun has always trusted his intuition, this time was no exception, so he listened, patiently waiting for that time to come.

But now, he couldn't help but rethink if it was the right choice.

Lo and behold, here he was, questioning life choices and wondering how the hell he got where he was while being subjected to the death glare of a handsome stranger who Lee Jihye suddenly came and dubbed as her 'master'.

'I wouldn't be surprised if the guy's younger than he looks with all the wrinkles on his impassive bitch face from his constant frown.' Kim Jihun privately thought to himself while retaining a closed eyed smile that could rival the sun plastered on his face.

"Who are you?" was the first sentence the man, whom Kim John already disliked at one glance, said to him.

'Well hello to you too.'

"My name is Kim Jihun, and you sir?" Kim Jihun beamed at him, his expression greatly contrasting with his belittling thoughts.

"Yoo Junghyuk."

Kim Jihun blinked. Similarly to Lee Jihye, the man's name also sounded vaguely familiar, even more so than Lee Jihye's. Kim Jihun was confident in his memory, yet now he couldn't help but hold some doubts. The answer seemed to be right in front of him, yet whenever he reached out to grasp it, it would slip right through his fingers.

It irritated him.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Yoo Junghyuk-ssi!" Kim Jihun smiled at the older man, hiding the suspicion and dislike in his eyes.

Yoo Junghyuk narrowed his eyes, and Kim Jihun watched in interest as his right eye glowed gold. Sparks flew in the air and a holographic screen simultaneously appeared in front of him.

'Hah? What was this bastard trying to do?'

Kim Jihun's eyes slightly darkened as irritation bubbled up within him. He met the incredulous eyes of the other and was surprised to see a hint of fondness in them. However, it only lasted a second as the fondness was soon replaced by doubt.

'Did I illusion it?'

Kim Jihun didn't mean to degrade this man- scratch that, he totally does- whom he only just met and didn't have a solid impression of, but it was quite obvious that Yoo Junghyuk wasn't the nice type and Kim Jihun was pretty sure as hell he had never met the man- despite the impression he has on his name- for him to direct such a soft gaze towards him as he simply wouldn't forget such an attractive face.

Silence ensued as the two males engaged in a staring contest, both scrutinising the other. One wore a scowl while the other wore a gentle closed eyed smile, though his hidden eyes flickered a different tale, making his dislike for the other party crystal clear to anyone who could see them. The sound of lightning crackling could faintly be heard in the silent corner they were standing in.
