"Hey, George."

"Karl? Do you know about Dream?" George asked.

"Yeah, it's fucked isn't it," Karl sighed, rubbing his eyes.

He had been mentally and physically exhausted after today. He felt unbelievably bad for Dream, seeing him panic and sob in his arms, passing out right after. He couldn't imagine what he had been going through.

"Wait what is it? Dream told me to call you to find out. He said he didn't want to talk about it, but Sapnap said he was fine and—"

"Wait you spoke to Sapnap?" Karl asked.

"Yes?"

"What did he say?" Karl was confused now. How did George not know.

"He didn't say anything much about Dream. He just said he was fine and that he went out. We were joking about it for a bit then we played a game. I was waiting for Dream all day and then he finally answered one of my calls—"

"Stop rambling, George," Karl interrupted, and George listened.

The call fell silent for a moment before George spoke again.

"So can you tell me?" He asked, the desperation to know what had happen being apparent in his voice.

"They broke up," Karl said flatly.

George was taken aback.

"Wha— what? Isn't their anniversary next month though? What happened?" George was confused.

How could Sapnap not tell him about this?

"Sapnap cheated. So now Dream's spending some time at my place to stay away from Sapnap for a bit."

George's facial expression suddenly dropped. A wave of emotions replaced the others, hitting him straight through the chest.

"When did this happen?" George's voice was more serious now.

"Saturday, I think," Karl said, unsure. "It was this past weekend for sure, though."

George's started to raise his tone, "Sapnap told me that Dream was okay! He told me nothing fucking happened. That mother fucker—"

"George, calm down." Karl said, speaking over the brit. "Go talk to Sapnap if you want to yell, but I'm tired. Today was a lot for Dream, and I have to be there for him so I want to get some rest." Karl explained.

George stayed silent.

"I'm going to sleep," Karl said. "Talk to you tomorrow, yeah?"

"Yeah," George said, voice still stern.

"Alright, bye."

George didn't bother responding. He watched as the call ended before going back onto discord and finding Sapnap's contact.

Their messages flashed on screen, and George didn't bother messaging, or calling the other.

All he did was let his cursor drag up, hitting the button which read , "Block."

Doing the same on his phone, he opened his messages for Dream.

He sent Dream a message, telling him how he felt bad and how he's sorry. How he'd be there for the blond if he needed anything. But the only thing that would happen would be a message that said, "Failed to Send Message."

George gave up, slamming his phone down onto his desk before standing up and walking to his living room.

He had been hungry for a while now, and maybe a meal would get all of this shit off of his mind.

Sapnap wouldn't hear from George for a while.

It had been the next day. Karl woke up not too long ago, and Dream was just now waking up.

His eyes slowly opened, yawning as he sat up.

"Morning," Karl called out from the other couch.

Dream hummed, rubbing his eyes back and forth to clear his vision, "Morning," he replied, voice a bit raspy.

He looked up to meet Karl's eyes. "Are you okay?" Karl asked softly. "You had a rough night."

Dream hesitated before nodding. "Yeah," he breathed out.

"Just upset I guess."

Karl hummed, "You have every right to be."

Dream started to think back to yesterday's events. And specifically, he thought about George.

"Did George call?" He asked.

Karl nodded, "He wasn't very happy." He muttered.

Dream looked down to his hands anxiously, starting to pick at his skin. "What did he say?"

"I didn't let him speak much," Karl said in honesty. "I was tired and wanted to get sleep. But he was yelling about what Sapnap said to him. Apparently he told George that nothing happened," Karl mumbled.

Right, Dream remembers that from yesterday when talking to George.

Sapnap had lied. He didn't admit to what he had done.

"Right." Dream replied.

"Anyways, we agreed not to think of him right?" Karl said.

Dream nodded, "I'm sor—"

"No apologies needed, we're going out today."

Dream looked up at Karl with a confused look on his face. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes narrowed. "Going out?"

"Yes, going out." Karl repeated with a friendly smile, sounding out his words more.

Dream rolled his eyes. "Where to?" He questioned.

"To eat, now go to my room and get some clothes to wear. Hurry," Karl said with a smile.

After George had hung up, Sapnap had gone to sleep as well. After streaming and everything, it wouldn't hurt him to get some rest.

He was at first relieved that George didn't know. He had some time to still have his other best friend.

But that changed when he woke up.

The first thing he had gone to do was pick up his phone and text George. But as he had tried to send the message, it wouldn't go through.

He had moved to Karl's contact.

"Can you tell George to text me? My messages aren't working for him." The text messages which he sent read.

He didn't have a response for a long ten minutes, but soon Karl replied with a screenshot.

In the screenshot showed Karl's and George's messages.

"Sapnap wants you to text him," Karl messages.

Then his eyes traveled down to the next message.

"Tell him I blocked him for a reason."

Sapnap stared at the screenshot. George knows.

"Did George and Dream talk?" Sapnap sent to Karl.

He was quickly met with a response. "No. George and I talked."
