wrecked, itoshi sae ?

pulling yourself together you run away, but you have to keep looking back. you run and run until you're standing in front of your house door.

your mother opens the door for you, looks at you questioningly, but you run past her and run up the stairs, going straight to your room where you lock yourself in.

your back is leaning against the door. your loud breathing shifts through the whole room, you have never been so scared.

you couldn't get those eyes of rin out of your head. his pupils were big and black, you've never seen him like that before. it looked like he was about to chop you into pieces, because his drugs had fallen off.

apparently you fell asleep because the next morning you are woken up by a loud knock on your door, it was your mother - she wants to come in, but you had locked the door yesterday.

"y/n get up, or you'll be late" she calls from the other side of the door.

sighing, you get up and pick up your phone. when you turn it on, you get countless messages, most of them from ryusei.

he wants to take you to school today and you curse the person who gave him your number.

just as you close the front door a few minutes later you're startled by a loud noise. it was ryusei in his car, honking the horn. he stops and gets out, wanting you to go to school with him.

"you look beautiful today" he compliments you.

you convulsively try not to smile, but you can't suppress it and a small smile forms on your lips.

"come on! it's ten to eight" he holds the passenger door open for you.

you can't afford to be late again, so you sit down in his car.

"you look incredibly hot today, y/n" he compliments you again, while the traffic light turns red.

you just roll your eyes. if you hadn't been late, you wouldn't have sat in his car.

5 minutes later, ryusei parks his car and gets out, walking quickly to the other side of the car to open the door for you. you hope that no one sees you getting out of his car, but unfortunately, some people are watching you.

ryu's friends grin when they see you getting out of it. they think he has you wrapped around his finger and celebrate him for finally reaching his goal & winning the bet.

sae, who just arrived at school on time for the first time, saw this too. he hates ryusei and it makes him angry to see you with him.

rin put in a good word for you yesterday, because he was in the same elementary school with you and knows that you're a good girl and wouldn't show yourself with someone like ryusei.

but sae runs on again, thinking that he doesn't need to care.

tamaki, a girl, stands a few meters away from the blonde-pink haired's car and watches everything. every step you take, every step he takes. she is angry at you, because she knows that he wants you badly and not her.

he has already slept with her and ryusei wouldn't be ryusei if he went to bed with a girl twice.

you run into the building, leaving him behind, because it's already eight and you want to avoid the further glances.

breathing heavily, but on time, you enter the classroom and sit down.

overjoyed that class is over an hour later and you can eat something, you run out of the classroom.

you look to the side for just a second and run into someone.

"god, ryu" you grumble because your books have fallen down again and you assume it was him you ran into.

you bend down to pick them up again, but by then he has already done it. you lift your head in wonder, looking indirectly into his beautiful face.

sae slightly lifts his head, your eyes meet, a warm feeling accumulates in you.

he holds the book in front of your nose, waiting for you to take it out of his hand, but you stand frozen, unable to believe that he just helped you.

after you take your book out of his hand seconds later, he turns around without saying a word, just keeps walking.

but this time you don't want to let him get caught and run after him.

"wait" you stand in front of him.

annoyed he exhales, looks down at you. "huh?"

"i just wanted to say thank you for yesterday and-" that's as far as you get out, because rin comes from the other side, now standing next to him.

his expression sinks when he sees you; you both remember yesterday.

sae sees your anxious looks, turns in the direction you've been staring all the time, and only then notices that rin is standing next to him.

shocked, he looks at him.

"what are you doing next to me?" he whispers to the green haired, looking around in a panic, hoping no one else sees them together.

"i need to talk to you," he clears his throat. "in private," he doesn't take his eyes off you, which annoys the reddish brown one quite a bit.

"fuck, rin stop looking at her like you want to kill her" he rolls his eyes.

"why? have you taken someone deep into your heart again?"

sae grits his teeth in anger - he hates it when rin talks about his past.

standing in front of the two of them, you look at them questioningly, because they both blanked you out for a moment.

you wonder what rin meant by that, why he said that.

to be honest, you want to ask, but it would be too early and you wouldn't get an answer anyway.

"don't freak out, itoshi sae" he holds up his hands.

it's the first time you've heard his full name.

grudgingly sae grabs him by the collar and runs out with him, but before he disappears completely, he looks back at you.
