[Location: Earth, The Tower, Last Safe City On Earth]

"Wake up you two, we are almost there." Sarah said over the intercom.
"Five more minutes." Julia said while turning over.
"Sorry, gotta get up now. Today is an important day." Carl said.
"Ok fine." Julia said. We both got up and went to the front of the ship, Carl and Sarah were nowhere to be found. "Where are you guys?" I asked.
"In the ship, sort of how we linked to your minds." Sarah said.
"Ok, so what are we supposed to do when we get to the tower?" Julia asked.
"Go straight to the Vanguard Leaders. They will get you set for your first mission." Carl said.
"Ok, how long till we are there?" I asked.
"About five minutes." Carl replied.
"Ok, so how do we get off the ship?" Julia asked.
"We will just warp you two off." Sarah replied.
"Ok, Julia, lets go look around some more." I said. We went off and looked around until Carl said, "we have arrived, warping you two down now." We teleported to the tower.
Once we arrived, we were welcomed by a few others. They looked like they had been around for a while. "Where are the Vanguard leaders?" I asked.
"Just go straight down those stairs ahead, keep going past the red room, that is the crucible, word of advice, don't go there until you have some better weapons, its just guardians VS. guardians there."
"Thanks for the advice." I said. I grabbed Julia's hand and pulled her along. We went through the red room i to the next room. Three people stood at a table in the center of the room. "Welcome, young guardians, to the tower." The closest person said, a female. "Are you three the vanguard leaders?" I asked.
"Yes we are, I am Ikora Ray, the Warlock Vanguard leader." She said. Ikora was a human, she had a darker skin color.
"Im Cayde-6, the Hunter Vanguard Leader." The person in the center said. He had a cloak over his head, and his voice sounded robotic.
"Im Nothing important, neither of you are a Titan. But anyway, I'm Commander Zavala, Titan Vanguard Leader." The farthest person said. He had pale white skin.
"Why don't we get you two set for your first mission. Seth, please step forward." Ikora said.
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
"Us warlocks have incredible minds, you will eventually learn how to have this future vision after awhile. But very few can master it." She said.
"Ok, what is our first mission? And what prep do we need?" I asked.
"You will need to get a weapon from the gunsmith, i already know you don't have enough glimmer to purchase one. So you i will give you a weapon voucher." She handed me a light, metallic, glowing slab of some material. "That is the voucher, the gunsmith will accept it and will let you pick a weapon for free. I will also give you some armor to defend yourself." She turned around and grabbed a helmet that was on the table. She passed it to me. "I wish you luck, fellow Warlock." Cayde-6 spoke up.
"Why hello there Julia, why don't you come over here and get some things too." He said. He pulled down his cloak. He was a robot. Julia tensed up and hid behind me. "Sorry Cayde, give me one second with Julia." I said.
"Take all the time you need with her." He said. I grabbed Julia's hand and pulled her back to the red room. "What's wrong?"
"Killer robot, you fucking called it." She said.
"He won't kill you, don't worry, i will stay right next to you." I said, giving her a hug.
"Ok." We walked back into the room and i stood next to Julia. I held her hand. Cayde gave a quick speech and have her a weapon voucher and a helmet. "The gunsmith is out in the main square, just make a left once you come out after the stairs." Cayde said. We thanked them and left for the gunsmith.
We just got out of the stairs when someone came over and grabbed me. He was strong. He picked me up and carried me over to the edge of the tower. "Seth!" Julia yelled, chasing the guy who picked me up. I tried to get out of his grip. I dident make it. He threw me off the edge of the tower. I fell for a while and passed out. I felt myself hit the ground. I had died.

"Why did you do that?!" I yelled at the brute who killed Seth. He turned around. It was the same person who welcomed us.
"Because, i needed to teach you two a lesson."
"And what kind of fucking lesson is that?! That its ok to murder someone?!" I yelled.
"The lesson is that death isn't permanent. Your ghost will appear for a few seconds and your body will be regenerated nearby. This is only in area's that have enough light, if your in a darkness area, it will take longer. But you can force the regeneration process of another by hitting a button on there ghost." The guy said. He walked over to Carl who was floating near the edge. He tapped a button on Carl and Seth appeared next to them.
"What the hell?" Seth said as he looked at me. The guy explained everything. And then let us test it ourselves. He jumped off the tower and let us regenerate him as practice.
"Still hurts to die though." He added. We went over to the gunsmith and browsed the weapons. I found a cool looking gun and asked the gunsmith about it. "That's a scout rifle. It's a single shot per trigger pull, good for accuracy." He said. "I will take it." I handed him the voucher and took the gun. Seth found a weapon. "What's this one?" He asked.
"That's a hand cannon, they are made for strength and slight accuracy, they don't have much range, but can pack a punch at closer ranges. Some variants of them are made to fire full auto, but i don't have one of those in stock right now." The gunsmith said. He handed him the voucher and took the gun. "You two should go get your ship from the ship master." The gunsmith said. He pointed us in the direction and we went to get our ship.
(Time skip)
We went over to the hanger and found our ship. We got in and took off. "Ready for your first mission?" Sara asked.
"Yes." I replied.
