I spent days in my room trying to figure out and swallow the news, ever since doctor Patricia broke the news to me, I have been in shock, I touch my lower abdomen, there is someone growing in there, if it were in normal circumstances, I would have been happy but I feel resentment and pity for this child, his father is a monster and unfortunately for the baby the blood of a monster was running through his veins,
I wonder what will become of me, as it is I am scared of sounds, any sound,foot steps and now my fear has increased by a hundred folds, how am I going to survive here, everyday I pray to God to take my worthless life but he doesn't seem to listen and now this.
I should have known that I was pregnant, maybe I'd have found away to get rid of it, but the doctor said it was too late, it's no wonder, I haven't seen my monthly flow for months, i just thought, it was stress and trauma, no wonder I crave a lot of weird things, no wonder why sometimes my fear seem to vanish away and I feel adventurous.
I was startled when my door opened, and the person I didn't want to see was the one standing there, he walked closer to me in all his glory and might, the scent of Jasmine and wood, filling the room, I watched him, tower over me, his stance intimidating me and I just wanted to shrink into nothingness,
"Look at me" his deep voice startled me, it always did, I stood up and lifted my face to look at his dark hazel eyes and his expressionless face, his eyes bore holes into mine,it made me uncomfortable, he was somehow invading my privacy, he was searching for something, something in me, searching for my soul,
I felt his strong cold hand on my cheek stroking lightly, I was expecting a slap but after a while I looked up, his eyes were closed as if in a trance, his black long lashes shaking and his bushy eye brows furrowed, he opened his eyes and caught me staring, and then he kissed me, not a rough kiss, not a passionate kiss, but a simple kiss.
I felt his hand on my abdomen and he stared down there, off course he knew I was pregnant, I'm sure he would have heard the news before I did.
But whatever he was doing now, I don't understand it,he is usually so cold and heartless but why is he suddenly doing this, because I am carrying his child,
"Rex" we were both distracted by the man at the door,
"What is it Blade" Rex voice thundered obviously angry because of the interruption,
"The falcon is here" Blade said,
"You may leave", Rex said to Blade and the latter walked away,
His face became cold again,
"Get dressed and come down" he ordered before leaving me.
"What drama is this now?" I asked quietly, hoping he wouldn't hear , he did.
