Rosé's POV

Rosé: "I know, I'm so sorry, they had me do this shoot last minute."

I say to my best friend, y/n through the phone.

We had plans on going out for lunch and visiting an art museum which is only gonna be open for a day.

Y/n: "oh c'mon you're really gonna let me go to a museum alone? But Rosie please" she whines on the other line.

Rosé: "I'm so sorry, y/n. But I'm already at the set and there's no way that's we'll be done in time to go"

I really do feel bad but I have contracts that forces be to be here.

Y/n: "fine"

Rosé: "I'll make it up to you next time, okay?"

Y/n: "yeah, sure. Bye."

Then she hangs up. I sigh at the glam chair, contemplating on what I can do to make it all better.

See, the thing is, I like y/n, like a LOT. We met a couple years back, she was fresh from her home country and she barely spoke any Korean back then. We were both trainees at that time, so, it was a bit of comfort for the both of us that we can talk to each other in English.

As much as I was glad to have the girls with me during my trainee days, there were just some things that I can't share even to them.

But with y/n it's different, she's my comfort zone, she's my safe place. I know that I can tell her anything and she would never judge me. When things get tough I turn to her. She's incredibly smart, and always knows the right things to say to me to make me feel better.

I anxiously bounce my knees, still thinking of what I can do in this situation, because the last thing I want is for her to be angry at me.

Then I suddenly got an idea. I quickly search her name through my contacts and called her.

Rosé: "hey unnie, I remembered that you asked me if we can hang out today, and I was wondering if you're still free for today?"

Jennie: "Yeah, I am, where can we go?"

Rosé: "well... it's not necessarily with me" I hesitantly say

Jennie: "what do you mean?"

Rosé: "I promised y/n that we were gonna hang out and I had to cancel last minute, it would be a huge favor for me if you can go with her"

Jennie: " I don't know if that's a good idea, I mean- I barely know y/n, we've only met a handful of times." Now, she's the one that was hesitant.

Y/n may be my best friend but as she's an idol as well, the girls and her never really got to hang out the way we did..

Rosé: "please, unnie. She hates doing things like this alone. And you know her enough"

Jennie: "I don't know a single thing about her other than you're her best friend"

Rosé: "it's only a museum thing, she's really kind so I'm sure you'll be fine. Please, unnie, if you do this then I owe you one" I plead to her

She takes a couple of seconds before responding

Jennie: "fine..."

Rosé: "thank you, unnie. I'll just give her your number so she can contact you"

Jennie: "alright"

Rosé: "I definitely owe you one, have fun!" I say as we say goodbye and hang up.

I call y/n telling her I had Jennie to come with her and just like Jennie she was very hesitant at first because they barely do know each other. But she would still rather go with someone she doesn't know that well rather than alone.
