My makeup artists asks

Rosé: "it's just y/n"

She gives me a knowing look. They kind of know that I have a thing for her and I'm just mustering up the courage to confess to her.

Months later...

Y/n's POV

I blow on the cup of coffee in front of my as I wrap both my hands on the warm cup to warm myself as much as possible.

I hear the door open to the cafe and it was my best friend, Rosé. I called her here to tell her something important. Her eyes roams the room and when they landed on me, there was an instant brightness to her face.

She walked over me with the biggest smile on her face, I stood up from my chair to give her a hug and she instantly wraps her arms around my neck tightly as she welcomes my hug.

Our hug lasted for a couple of seconds, it's been awhile since we last saw each other, as she was busy with her solo.

We gave each other a warm smile before sitting, she sat down directly in front of her.

Y/n: "I already ordered your favorite"

Her smile gets even wider at this

Rosé: "thank you"

Y/n: "so, how's the solo preparations?"

Rosé: "it's all going well, I just finished shooting the music video yesterday"

Y/n: "I really can't wait for your solo"

Rosé: " thank you, even though you've already heard the songs"

We chuckled at the thought, but for after that was a bit of an awkward since

"So~" we say at the same time breaking the silence

Y/n: "you go ahead"

Rosé: "I'm super glad you called me to have coffee, I've been dying to actually see you but I've just been so busy"

Y/n: "it's okay, I understand and once you're done we can hangout all you want"

Rosé: "right, I actually have a specific reason for wanting to see you"

I look at her anticipating what she had to say

Rosé: "I- it's been awhile since I've felt this way towards you"

She pauses and takes a deep breath, almost as if she was nervous.

Rosé: "I really really like you- no- I actually think I already love you"

She lets our a sigh of relief after saying those words, but I just stare at her, my mouth open in shock.

Y/n: "I- "

As I was about to speak I was cut off by Jennie's arrival. She sat down next to me, not leaving any space between us.

Rosé: "unnie, what are you doing here?"

Jennie: "y/n hasn't told you yet?"

Rosé shakes her head 'no' confusion evident on her face.

Jennie: "I'm glad she hasn't, I wanted to also be here when you find out"

Rosé: "find out what?"

Jennie: "You're both our best friend and we value your opinion"

She said when I just kept my gaze on my very confused best friend. I don't know what to do or say because no matter what I choose to do I'll hurt one of the most important woman in my life.

Jennie: "since we went to the museum, y/n and I have been going out for awhile and it had gotten more serious but of course before we get further, we wanted to let you know and see what you have to say about it"

My girlfriend say with a hopeful smile looking at her band mate.

Rosé's face instantly fell, but she tried to cover it off with a forced smile. Tears were swelling in her eyes, but she's got the hurt look that she could never hide from me.

I try to reach for Rosé's hands across the table but she pulled away, looking away from me, giving her older band mate a forced smile.

Rosé: "of- of course, I'm super happy for you both. You two deserves to be happy and- if- if you make each other happy then so am I"

She stutters while saying, trying her best to not let her tears fall down.

Then she quickly grabs her phone from the table

Rosé: "something came up"

She subtly wipes her eyes and faces us both

Rosé: "I have to go"

Jennie: "is everything okay?"

She asked noticing that the singer was in such a rush.

Rosé: "oh yeah, just- something about my solo that need my immediate decision"

She stood up, we did too, expecting the farewell hug from her but instead.

Rosé: "I really have to go" was all she said before walking away from our table and out the cafe.

I just watch her leave, I stare at the door that she exited from..

What should I do? Should I follow my best friend or stay here with my girlfriend?
